You are not allowed to get take away food in your rooms. Was so inconvenient for me
It is worth the money you pay.
The pictures shown are not from the property (the guest house is nowhere near the beach). I was received by a man with only one shoe on (the shoe missing revealed a gangrened foot with a large toenail) who smelled really bad. The property smells and doesn't have the minimum hygiene conditions. Run away from this property.
Tired, noisy, cramped and generally decrepit. Just because it's cheap, there is no reason for stained carpets or an ensuite so small that the sink has to go in the bedroom.
No hot water in the sink tho shower was fantastic
Fantastic location. While not the most luxurious place, it suited our needs
The size of the room was far too small. The bathroom was tiny too and the shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold.
Everything works good. I didn't have any problems.
The window in my room didn't close properly
The room was clean and tidy and the staff was helpful.
-My payment wasn't taken until a week later even though I got a receipt -The bed was lumpy and gave me back pain! -The old man complained about us eating take away -Moldy room
-It was easy to see the sights in Swansea -The bus station is near to be able to take a day trip to Mumbles -The cleaning staff was polite
It's clean, but worn. There was insufficient space in my room for so much as a chair apart from the bed, and lighting level lowish, with v. small TV screen as the only diversion, since no other activity was possible. I think the place expensive for what it is, despite the convenient location.
The bed was comfortable and relatively new. The guesthouse is 5 mins walk from Swansea centre, and will suit those who prefer minimal interaction with staff. I saw the proprietor only once after my arrival, and no one else. Not a problem for me, but not everyone enjoys that.
The only thing i would question is the check-in time. You can try and organise an early time (which he seems happy to accommodate) but i feel for a b&b check-in should be from 14:00 onwards without having to make arrangements.
The proprietor was a very nice and eloquent man. I said we were in Swansea for my Birthday and he had a Birthday card for me which was a lovely gesture. Bed was immaculate and very comfortable.
The sign saying only human waste to be disposed, above the toilet. The carpet not reaching the walls.
the facilities are pretty old
free wifi nice grandfather clean bathroom close to the station delicious free cookie and tea
Two rooms. One for us one for the children. Paid more for the "partial" sea view....literally. Its a strip of sea you can spot over the roof of the many buildings that block the view. My children room had brown spot and water patches with peeling painting on the ceiling. Blood splodges over the door. Their shower was not electric. No hot water. Nowhere to find a switch of any kind. Their room was on a different floor. And you cannot lock yourself in with the key. I couldn't sleep all night because of that. Not enough bath towel for the four of us. I had to go to my children room and borrow hers, which was wet. My partner almost broke his head getting up the bed as the ceiling was so low, AND NOT EVEN ONE MARK OR SIGN TO HELP YOU ...and same happens to my 6 years old son. The owner smell of alcohol and even if he was trying to be friendly and polite he was too elderly to come up all the three ramps of stairs, as I wanted to check the rooms before paying for them. He said he wouldn't allowed ne to see them before paying for them. I paid for them ( I travelled 5 hours to get there, we were exhausted to go somewhere else) but he wasn't with us. Cheap, yes. But I m not sure was worth it....
Great location, close to everything we needed, breakfast vouchers were a lovely touch and the room was adequate and comfortable for what we required.
It was very centrally located within a five minute walk of coach station, shops, bars and theatre. The owner was extremely helpful giving very good directions.
The pictures don't capture how small the rooms are, there was just enough room for the bed and not much else. The bed was very hard and my partner and I woke up sore. The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold; we paid extra to re-book our bus tickets and forfeited one nights' accommodation so that we could come back home and shower! Terrible place, do not book.
Everything rude dirty and cold
The WiFi does not really reach room 5.
The rooms were nice and the price was decent. Breakfast vouchers were a nice touch to your morning.
Bathroom a little small but it's hardly the proprietors fault.
The gentleman in charge was warm, welcoming and polite. He gave us advice on parking and when a fuse blew in our room offered us another wih no trouble at all. Excellent value for money in a great location, room was clean and WiFi signal was strong. Great little place if you're planning a weekend away.
Seriously in need of TLC and a lick of paint.
Room warm and quiet.
externally premises ran down. Parking limited if not wanting to move vehicle before 08.00 hours
Cost and location good. Coupon provided for 20% off breakfast at local Weatherspoons
short check in time frame

Skylight window was leaking on to bed. A lot of noise. Dog do all over steps on entrance to property.
