Score from 341 reviews Very good
The decor was very tired. The room was an obvious amalgamation of other rooms. Although the total floor space could make for excellent space the current layout makes the room very cramped with nowhere to properly sit.
Closeness to centre of town
The room had an unusual smell and the sink in the toilet was cracked.
The location was great
The smell when we went through the main door was off putting and we both were bitten by bed bugs
The wifi worked
The room was tiny, dirty and the bed was extremely uncomfy
Place is old, pretty unlean, wifi does not work in room, and the room photo is a testimony to the skill of the photographer.
Good location and well presented room! Just enough for a night or two.
On the website advertise with breakfast included but they offer you a 20% discount for it in a local restaurant instead
Noisy floorboards, bad mattresses, cramped room, noise from sreet traffic, potential fire hazard
A few minutes walk from the railway station and the pubs and clubs in the town centre.
The owner acknowledged our cancellation of the rest of the stay.
I spend one night just to believe what i see. Hair on the bed, everything old and dirty, never see anything like this before.
Old required modernisation, carpet dirty, towels dirty, TV too small
We had a very small room, but it was so cute with very warming atmosphere. The proprietor was very helpful and welcoming. So if you don't mind a small room, definitely go for it! We had a very pleasent stay, thank you William.
One piece of advice - if you could include a rule of "no noise after 11pm" it would be great, because the walls are thin, and we could hear distinctly the neighbour's tv at night.
The room was cosy, but not too small. The skylight window was great.
The shower had temperatures of Hell or Arctic and nowhere in between. A dvd player in the room would have been handy.
Cute little place, lovely older gentleman who greeted me. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room were great and I felt like I was at my grandparents because it was very homely and comforting.
I was in the attic, so had to go up many stairs. Wifi didn't work, even though I had paid extra to be in a room with it, but was the furthest away.
Location Cleanliness Amount of space Easy check in/out Quiet area Close to town
Very clean spacious room with sea view Towels were provided (despite some reviews saying otherwise) as were tea and biscuits in the room. Lovely stay for a short weekend surfing trip
Road outside was a bit loud at night, but bed was very comfortable. Bit of a funny smell in the corridor but hotel room was fine
The staff were excellent, they made us both feel very welcome from the moment we entered. They were very helpful financially, allowing us to pay in two settlements when we got to the hotel, I found this extremely helpful in the budgeting for our holiday.
The cost of the hotel was a little too much for what you get.
Location, physiological needs fulfilled.
Due to weather, room was stuffy (requested fans, did not have) Iron and ironing board would have been handy. No hot water to take shower, though there was hot water in washbasin. It wasn't big issue as weather was hot and cold shower was bearable. However did mention upon checkout and the owner just didn't seemed interested and said "there is hot water" which offended me as he didn't respect my feedback, no apology and did not even check it before he came to a conclusion. Would come back but will be proactive about reporting faults.
Everything, it was old, smelly and dirty! Pictures must have been taken years ago as it was very rundown.
Location....close to centre n free parking
Room itself clean but hallway was dirty n smelly. Room too hot no fan From outside it looked rundown n unappealing
Close to the bus station
Bathroom not really comfortable.
It was cheap
It is very dated and could do with being refurbished
I did not like anything with this hotel
This hotel was smelly dirty and I woo dent even stay in this Hotel it is so disgusting
Staff were great. Wasn't happy about being on second floor though due to having to lift a very heavy suitcase up the stairs lol. WiFi kept cutting off too:-( But apart from that, it was perfect!
Stairs & WiFi
Um mm. ...The warm welcome...free wifi
Everythinglese.. The place had a bad smell upon arrival.. The carpets were stained and smelly the rooms were in bad decor. . We were told to ring bell if we needed anything.. when we rang no one came to see us..I'm not high maintained but for £50 this was the worst place I have stayed in
Fairly central to Swansea. Parking on street outside is free from 18-09. Cheaper than everything else in the vecinity.
Very small room, barely enough space for 3 luggages. Toilet was extremely small. WiFi in the room was very weak and had to be rebooted from outside the room (using iPad 4). Expensive compared to the standard.
