The owners were friendly, the room beautifully appointed and the breakfast first rate. There was a comfortable lounge and very pleasant gardens to relax in.

Unfortunately the guest house is situated on a main road and we were kept awake the first night by a continuous stream of heave lorries carrying logs. We had obviously got used to it by our second night as the lorries weren't quite as much of a problem.

Owners (Alan and Sharon) were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent and our room was extremely comfortable and clean. Would love to stay again sometime.

Bathroom was lovely but the shower was a bit feeble!

Poor internet connection, but for an overnight stay that wasn't important.

We were met by the owner and booking in was quick. The room was quite small but very clean. Supper had been booked in advance and that was served promptly. Breakfast was also good.

The piped music was far too loud and not to our taste. It was played throughout the duration of our stay and took the edge off an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Great central location, yet in the countryside.

Unable to get internet in the room, but I understand that it is an old home.

The home is very lovely and well maintained. The garden was also very nice. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The decor was great and gave a homey feel. the dining area was particularly attractive with the sun shining in. The room was spacious and included all the amenities. The breakfast was deliciou s with various choices available. Overall we found the owners very friendly and helpful which added to the atmosphere.

Friendly owners. Nicely decorated rooms and the breakfast was good.

Wifi is available only in a small part of the common lounge area and not in the rooms. Also, check-in is available after 14.00 and when we got there (around 13.00) no-one was around and the place was locked.
