Mansion House  

Mansion house was in a peaceful, quiet vicinity, but only a short walk from the beach and shops. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and tea and coffee facilities were laid on in your room and replenished every day. There was plenty of choice for breakfast which was excellent.

We stayed 2 nights and the room and service were superb. Our room was sea view with a big window looking down the magnificent South Bay.All facilities at the hotel was comfortable and the staff was all kind and helpful. My friend loved honesty bar! Thanks to the staff's advice, we really enjoyed 2 days, walking around the town. We didin't have a car but most of the attractions are in walking distance or reachable by local buses.Last but not least we went to the best fish restaurant nearby we've ever visited in UK by recommendation from the hotel. Cafe Fish was a nice family running restaurant.We ate the best mussels, pate,crab and special fish & chips!

The staff was exceptional; always ready to please!! My visit had me there during one of the hottest days of the year. Although they did not have air conditioning, I felt safe to leave my door ajar for air circulation and it helped enormously. There was an excellent selection of breakfast choices and they were delicious. I didn't have difficulty finding close parking and the gardens just across the way was enjoyable after a long business day.

The house had a list of recommended restaurants which offered a discount. However, I couldn't remember who they were when I was ready to make a selection to eat. I'd suggest listing the restaurants on a carry along card for those of us with limited memory. I ended up visiting at least two of the recommended locations, but didn't get my discount. I blame myself for not asking about the discount. Both locations had wonderful food and service!!

This Hotel is a real gem, its so peaceful and quiet it really is home from home.The staff are first class and really friendly and the breakfast is so good it set us up for the whole day.

I cant compain about anything at this Hotel although some people might find the stairs a challange as there is no lift.

Very stylish, beautifully furnished and welcoming high quality B & B.

Could have provided better blankets/quilts when very cold weather. It let down an otherwise excellent bedroom. Improved bedding would have saved on heating as this was required during the night due to the cold. Less fit travellers would have problems reaching the fourth floor as there isn't a lift. This isn't a hotel but it is a top quality B & B.

Clean, tastefully furnished with a pleasant and courteous staff. Good breakfast selection served promptly by friendly staff.

The Mansion House is a beautiful hotel. Our room had a sea view (worth paying that little bit extra for). Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely with a good selection. The bed was comfortable and the room itself had all facilities plus more, even a pair of binoculars to view out to sea. I would recommend this hotel.

It was reasonably close to the Spa where our Conference was taking place and that was the main reason for booking. However we were then a long way from restaurants in town for a meal on the Saturday. We then found that others in the hotel did have a meal there!
