Breakfast was excellent.staff were very good.location of hotel was good for able bodied. Bedroom was very small.a bottle of water in the room on arrival had been opened and partly consumed - this was a very poor first impression.drip from rainwater on to external landing from Leaking gutter kept me awake during the night. |

The Manager was excellent and the hotel location was perfect. Breakfast was exatly what we needed and the complimentary drins on arrival were a nide touch The shower in the premium room dribbled out - may be because we were on the top floor. The preimum room and bathroom were also very small |

The gentleman running the hotel was fantastic! He was more than willing to help with any requests. The room and facilities were beautifully clean, and everything had that "little bit extra", for example a free bottle of water in the room. I felt like I was welcomed into someone's home. The breakfast was also fantastic, and the staff serving breakfast were very happy to arrange anything that was asked for. It was a great place! Highly recommended. Unfortunately there is no lift in this building, but I don't mind the stairs. The staff were more than happy to help with any baggage. I'd recommend that anyone visiting that can't manage stairs should request a room on a lower floor, but you may miss out on the views! |

The staff were friendly, caring and competent. The Hotel was clean and fresh. The welcoming glass of wine was a nice touch. The full English breakfast was ample and not at all greasy. Although my room was very small it had everything I needed. |

Friendly & efficient staff. Service at breakfast was very good and the food choice was excellent. Occasionally noisy plumbing, particularly at night. This may just be a feature of the room we were in. |

The breakfast was extremely good, all the staff were friendly and location was lovely - sea view rooms had beatiful view over harbour and bay The hotel room we were allocated had a superb view but was very small and the bathroom was tiny - if you were a large person you would find it very difficult to get dry after a shower. Also there was no lift and after walking about hilly Scarborough it was a slog up many short flights of stairs |

Clean and well presented. Welcoming drink was a nice touch and bedrooms well appointed with quality furniture. Breakfast was disapointing. Limited choice of food (interesting take on a continential breakfas) and staff not quite with it. breakfast room overcrowded and not very relaxing. Suffered from quite alot of noise from people moving in the room above to voices at 5.30 in the morning. |
