Lovely private room with own entrance. Hosts very welcoming and good breakfast. Close to town centre and good parking.
We found the room rather cold when getting up in the morning. The heat needs to come on earlier. It was fine at other times of the day.
The owners Jill and Don were a lovely friendly couple. Jill really went above and beyond and made our visit perfect and Don was very also very accommodating. The Cottage was in an ideal location to visit surrounding areas and both Jill and Don also suggested lots of places to visit that we would not have thought of, their local knowledge was very helpful.
There is really nothing that you can put down as a negative although the room was a little cold it was an old cottage and I would expect this type of flaw, however there was a blanket which was available to use.
The warm greeting and fabulous breakfast in this beautiful period house.
The hosts are absolutely delightful. Comfortable rooms and a very welcoming atmosphere.
The owners made us feel at home. Donald welcomed us and we have enjoyed a lovely 6th wedding anniversary. We were given plenty of tips and things to do in the area.
Lovely spacious room close to the centre of the town, but with our own parking. Very comfortable room, pleasant, friendly, helpful hosts and a good, freshly cooked English breakfast each morning. Private and very quiet.
Outside narrow steps up to the room were a bit dark and slippery in the evening, which wouldn't suit all guests.
Very friendly and helpful family run hotel. I would recommend the bed and breakfast place highly.
Nothing was a problem for the owners who were more than accommodating to me and my partner the cottage was great very peaceful location thanks again Eli
We had a great time, very friendly and welcoming. Great Breakfast
Old world charm set in a quiet location with attentive hosts. Donald and Gill make every effort to provide their guests with a comfortable stay.
Parking arrangements are a little cramped with a full house. Wi Fi signal was a little unreliable
location breakfast friendly and thoughtful hosts we were fortunate to have covered parking for our stay
we thought a bit expensive in the scheme of things
We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed a well cooked breakfast.
Hosts, breakfast, room, delightful garden, very good area for exploring Somerset. Minutes away from the Steam Trains too.
Nuffin - loved it all :)
Nice hosts; clean, spacious room; very good breakfast and very quiet.
There was nothing not to like except that I would like to have had more time to spend there.
The room Big comfy bed Big comfy duvet Very quiet location Superb breakfast Nice owners who were aware of making you feel welcome and offered more at breakfat if required. Overall, a charming little place with a stunning little garden, We stayed in Oak and it was a huge room. Might try the cottage next time....... Well worth a visit
Even though it was was really nice, £90 seems a tad pricey for a B&B. £70 seems a fairer price.
We liked the unique charm of the house and the furnishings. It has a definite cottage style. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was excellent quality food. The bedroom was spacious enough with a modernised en-suite. Bed was very comfortable. Pub next door served good food and was a little quiet but suited us.
Can not think of anything!
Damp and insects in cottage, cold spartan unhomely accommodation, very soft mattress. Lack of facilities and welcoming feel in cottage. Min effort for max proffit by owners. Limited choice at breakfast ie no alternative to cereal.
Good breakfast, excellent location
superb host and hostess delightful stay for weekend with plenty of recommendations from the owners for places to visit.
all was perfect
Cottage provides separate sleeping and living areas. Ideally situated for the Royal Bath & West Showground. Good breakfast and friendly hosts.
Nit picking but we prefer a firm mattress whereas the Cottage has a soft mattress. This will not stop us returning (this was our third stay!).
Quaint row of English cottages, lovely big bedroom, most comfortable bed we have ever found in a hotel. Breakfast was extremely good, especially the local sausages. Owners were very attentive and friendly.
Leaving at the end of the week!
The owners are lovely . We could sit in the garden in front if our cottage. We could heat up food or make a salad. The bed was very comfy . Breakfast was very fresh and they were very accommodating. We could even sit outside where breakfast was served.
Parking needed a bit manoeuvring to get everybody in but it was OK . We could not always get wifi and we needed to be in touch with work .
Great place to stay with the bonus of its own living room. The walled garden was a real pleasure to look at. The history of the place was great to, the 16th century flooring was stunning. We would stay again which is always a good recommendation.
Wonderful hosts.Very comfortable bed.Great pub The Dust Bowl virtually next door.Very helpful and accommodating owners
Very welcoming, quaint, lovely place. Wonderful breakfast and fabulous hosts! Thank you!
