This Hotel is definitely worth its 5 star credentials and has lots of character, a very nice gym/pool and very helpful staff It can feel a little bit reserved at times with very formal procedures during dinner |

Position and leisure facilities including the Aveda Spa Menu included with package was limited for vegetarians although the last night the Chef provided an alternative when asked. |

The staff were exemplary in their politeness, attentiveness and friendliness. The food (dinner & breakfast buffet) was excellent. The grounds are also lovely and will no doubt be enhanced further when the golf course is finished. The TV only had a few (terrestrial) stations and quite a few of these had poor reception. There was no TV channel guide either. Not a major gripe but surprising in a top-end hotel. |

Pleasant staff. Good food and function food quality was excellent. The setting of the hotel was delightful but the building exterior is grimey and spoils the appearance. High prices for wine and other beverages. Extra restaurant charge of £20 pounds on the bill with no back up vouchers and for a time I was not in the restaurant. I was attending a wedding function at the hotel and had I not been, would not have selected this hotel |

the food, the atmosphere, the building and gardens, the spa, there was not one thing I could fault about this hotel, if you get the chance treat yourself to a break here. next time we will be staying two nights. ps the spa is a must. |

Beautifully appointed. Excellent service. Beauty rooms most attractive. Beautiful grounds and views. My friend who accompanied me during the day for a beauty treatement but was not staying at the hotel was asked to pay £15 to use the pool for half an hour. Preposterous. |
