Mardale Guest House

Una vez que te orientas un poco en Edimburgo, te das cuenta de que aunque no es céntrico, está a un paseo del centro histórico.

Precio de la habitación calidad/precio (agosto) desorbitado. Habitación no demasiado limpia y grandísima acumulación de polvo. Radiador apagado (hacía mucho frío). Baño fuera de la habitación (junto a la sala de desayunos). Desayuno sin opciones (si no querías el "english breakfast"). Sinceramente no lo recomiendo, porque es bastante peor que un albergue y además cuatriplica su precio.

Convenient for my location needs. Owners very frienfdly and helpful in every way, also very informative on advice on where nad what to find. I will use them again.

Absolutely, the shower was awful - lukewarm and low pressure and awkwardly placed up against the side of the cubicle. When you're on a schedule, needing twice as long to take a shower was just pants. Would not stay there again because of this even though lots of other features were good and value for money. This really is one of the essentials to get right. Also, breakfast was from 8 and again if need to be somewhere by 9, it made it an impossible morning schedule.

The toilet was dirty, the plug hole was blocked to some extent.

Well looked after by the owners. In a good location for visiting the city but slightly far out if walking. Good breakfasts.

Breakfast was a bit on the early side. Perhaps a later finish would be good - especially at weekends.

The Guest House was peaceful and the owners were very informative about trips, etc. The owners were a delightful couple!

The only thing that could've gone against it was it was not disabled friendly, otherwise the facilities were adequate. For myself.

Very clean, comfortable and suited it's purpose for a week-end in Edinburgh. A ten to fifteen minute walk to Princess Street.

I can't say what I liked most, because there is nothing good to say about the hotel: 1.first of all, the owner after booking the place in the hotel sent me email, asking no to come earlier that 10 a.m. 2. Owners are not hospitable 3. when we wake up at the daytime it was freezing in the room, the heating system was switched off.
