Just overall a Lovely experience great hotel, friendly and clean.
Second time I've stayed at mardi gras hotel Last year for our honeymoon and this year for our first anniversary enjoyed everything the staff are lovely and the service is excellent will always recommend to friends and family as a first choice if staying in blackpool!
* Very friendly personal
* noisy, thin walls * the bed was a little bit small
Close proximity to venue for Rebellion. Good value for the price. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Great breakfast, hospitality good, bedrooms good, a perfect stay, certainly value for money.
Could not find any faults
We were here for Rebellion festival so wanted somewhere near the venue. The Mardi Gras is a little gem, close to shops, restaurants, the Winter gardens etc. The room was bright, clean & airy. Tea/coffee facilities in room also. Breakfast is great, full fry up, cereals, juice & toast. All in all this place is a friendly, well run compact hotel with very friendly staff & owners. Would we stay again- yes.
Staff and choice of drinks and food very good.
Floors and bedroom floors felt unsafe in areas.very weak joists . Beds were most uncomfortable ever come across.matresses very lumpy and springs sticking up.
Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good
No curtains in the room only a blind.
The beds are so comfy, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were wonderful.
Staff were really friendly and very helpful and couldn't say a bad word about them. The locations not bad, close to the gay clubs and not to far walk to the beach, tower and trams.
I have to say that out of all the times I'm been this time was slightly below my expectations. The rooms were comfy enough and I didn't mind the basic was at all as with the price you can't expect a pent house. However I felt the cleanliness could have been better and some work needs doing to the bathroom. I.e. The toilet didn't flush properly and the shower was a bit out dated. It was not at all a bad stay though and would stay again but there's always room for improvement!
the overall staff of the venue are very pleastant
the room i stayed in one of the beds sloped to one side so if you were to turn you would fall into a ditch in the bed
toilet did not flush properly
Breakfast only available from 9.30 to 10 am
Everything else. Very clean, very good location, in close walking distance to town but not that close that we could hear the nightlife, very welcoming staff, good breakfast, good coffee! Good price.
The room smelt of cigarette smoke
Plastic mattress protector on bed.
Staff are all really friendly, rooms clean and comfortable (with 2 proper pillows EACH) nice big bar with reasonable prices.
The hash browns at breakfast weren't very nice but it wouldn't put me off staying again :)
Very welcoming staff told us everything we asked.
Breakfast was disgusting and I'm pretty sure the bed had bed bugs apart from that it was an average night away in Blackpool.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Consistently delivering a great service, from a hearty good quality breakfast to their unobtrusive housekeepers. There room rates are extremely good value and we're happy to share their local knowledge of excellent places to visit.
If I had to be critical one half of the double beds mattress in our triple room was well worn. But this said this didn't trouble us as the other bed was acceptably comfortable. On balance we had a great stay and would recommend Mardi Gras1 to anyone wanting accomadation in Blackpool on a budget.
The breakfast was not great but value for money.
