Very nice sunset at the nearby beach. Beautiful bird and swan. Big TV. Very budget friendly. Cozy for just to have a sleep. Not sound proof. I travel with small children. It is not easy to control their volume. Afraid that neighbour rooms can hear us since we can hear them.

Good value for money. When the fuse tripped knocking off the power to te sockets, a guy came around handily to reset it. Rooms and bathroom fascilites very clean. Some staff on sight would have been convinient but what can you expect for 30 quid.

Microwave. Fridge. Bathroom was clean. Location. Having freedom to come and go without owners there. Noisey, walls thin heard neighbouring rooms. Had a water boiler in room that rumbled all night. Noise from other residents doors banging. Carpet was disgusting. Cold. Broken spare heater. No biscuits etc as advertised on boolking .com.

The location is excellent, near shops and food and a nice view of Irvine Harbour. Next to the Ship Inn which is an excellent place to eat and drink. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Free wifi is nice. Closet sized bathroom, with very loud and unusual plumbing. The bed sheets were stained and worn. No breakfast included.

No Facilities eg Restaurant and Bar. Inn to me means Pub food. The sink unit in the en-suite was so small one had difficulty using it. No shelving in en-suite to position ones toiletries. Damp patches showing through ceiling and wall. Carpet filthy. Room was not cleaned daily and Tea and Coffee supplies not replenished.

Leaving it was the best part It was filthy and we tried to make a cup of tea but the plug was dangerous and we could have been electrocuted. We did not stay the night there as I would have been scared of contacting some illness.

Are you worried about breakfast, no then this is perfect, this was at the tail end of a group tour i was taking and we were ` grave yard` stone searching at irvine old parish church. No frills in this place , great big , no a huge en-suite, fridge , microwave available, restaurants nearby , we used the Ship Inn for dinner, perfect. Delighted wi the stay back at the seaside, beat glasgow airport noisy hotels hands down. Some history boarrds on the walls outside , fab Excellent thanx bob CelticConnexionsTours.com

We enjoyed our stay at the Marina Inn. Easy access to anywhere along the South Ayreshire- East Ayreshire sights. Close to Glasgow and Prestwick airports. Friendly staff....the hotel is very basic but exactlly what we look for....accommodating if asked for additional towels etc. A few restaurants close by and city centre close by (within walking distance) Could improve on pillows....wasn't much left for cushion under your head....if ever in the area again I wouldn''t hesitate to stay. Checking in a little confusing as staff works out of the Harbour Inn down the street....all it would take is a nice sign so patrons would know where to go. We asked at the Ships Inn next door and were instructed on what to do. We love Scotland and thanks for the accommodations.

I cannot say anything nice about the hotel. The room was very budget to the point that my wife slept on top of the bed for fear of what lay under the quilt. The toilet was very basic and the shower didn't work properly in the morning, although had worked fine the night before. There was an iron but no ironing board to use. I would have reported the shower but there was no clear indication of someone working there. My wife had requested that we try and book into a Premier Travel Inn as the standard of room we would get will be alot better, lesson learned I think?

We enjoyed the location, the price and the clean, newly refurbished room. The no hassle booking in and leaving. I booked early and asked specifically for a room with a view of the harbour. On the day I got a phone call to say that my room had been changed with no reason. I asked if the new room had a view of the harbour and was assured that it did. When we got to the hotel we found that room 8 does not have a harbour view. Was not sure why our room was changed after I had taken the time to book early and why it was necessary to lie to me. Despite this we enjoyed our stay and will definitely use Marina Inn again.
