Overlooking the harbour town of Portrush and the famous Royal Portrush Golf Club, Royal Court Hotel has an enviable location by the sea. Guests also benefit from free parking.
Score from 125 reviews Excellent
Great sea view and fantastic food in the bar, friendly staff. Good location
Beds could be bigger, also hot water was cold to Luke-warm.
You couldn't have a better location, right in the town centre and just facing the beach. Plenty of available parking and the staff were in my opinion exceptionally polite, helpful and friendly. They helped me to find a local hairdresser at the last minute before a wedding I was going to :)
Beds not good quality
staff were good. Location lovely.
room was noisy at night as I could hear the people standing outside having a smoke and chatting - probably not much the hotel can do about this - i'm a very light sleeper!
view of the beach perfect spot for a stay over
heaters could have worked
like hotel and location
Location Staff Staff Staff
more than I would normally spend but location and staff made it a wonderful visit.
Situated in a most beautiful part of Ireland, the North Antrim coast. Close to lovely beaches at Whiterock and Murlough Bay. Also the Rope Bridge and Giant's Causeway, Torr Head etc etc We had view of sea from room. Staff were great....friendly and efficient.
Room a bit jaded and would have preferred a bigger bed. Minor things. We would happily return and would recommend it to others.
After booking, I read through the reviews left by others, and found myself wondering if I had made a bad decision. In the event, I found it to be perfectly fine for my needs, food in the restaurant was great, breakfast was great also. Granted, it is a bit in need of a facelift in certain areas, but really, the place is fine!
Mobile phone signal was poor.
The views were amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free wifi.
Bedrooms could do with a revamp. Old decor and bath/shower very dated
The family room was huge for my daughter and I . very comfy beds. Attentive staff. Great views over beach. Very good value for money. Room for more people, we will be back soon.
Toilet seat needs fixed!!
Location near golf course. Bar meal was great. Staff were helpful
Dodgy plumbing. TV menu limited. Room a bit tired.
Perfect location, friendly staff, good facilities, we had a ball will definitely be back!!
We stayed one night while passing giant's causeway and Belfast. We concerned about staying in front corner room on busy corner of Main Street...but slept soundly in very comfy bed with very little noise.
Continental breakfast was very disappointing. Very little choice.
food was substandard. hake was frozen and microwaved ,tasteless which was a shame considering it is a fishing port . Surely they could get some fresh fish .Breakfast Ok.
The staff, the location, the simple but sufficient menu with good choice, fair prices
Car park of bit oddly located. A few technical problems - TV and lights but quickly resolved
Hotel staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. Food in the pub/restaurant was excellent, a little pricey but couldn't fault it. Lovely location and if updated would be a fabulous hotel.
Rooms are very dated and small. Our bed was quite small (even for a double) and unfortunately not very comfortable which resulted in back pain for the rest of the weekend! Breakfast was not the best, very little selection unless you want a fry-up.
The hotel had outside seating and was great for walking in the harbour area.
Staff pleasant and nice, restaurant was good with good food and service,
We payed 190£ for a 2 night stay it was just not worth that price, carpet in room was dirty shower was not over the bath near in possible to adjust to right temperature. Our room had a balcony over looking the main road, paint was coming off the dirty balcony walls, over all and to be truthful are room was just not up to standard. Unlikely we will stop at this hotel again, pity as it has great potential
Staff were lovely....couldn't have been more helpful...had been there for sportive cycle event and helped with storage of bike/box etc...they were great ....very clean...helped with local information etc..
The location of the hotel is really great, right across from the Marina. The staff are really nice and the restaurant was extremely good.
Our "marina view " room was facing the street, the room itself was dated and the room only had one plug in socket unless you unplugged the TV, which we had to do to charge both our phones overnight. Decent enough hotel but not worth the price
Beautiful place .lovely scenery an plenty place to walk .
Iloved the walk on the beach with those wonderful waves constantly crashing on the shore. Also Ratlin Island was brilliant to visit.
Your closing time was a bit early.
Lovely room with a fine view Very nice staff Nice meals
We love the location and staff were very friendly. Had a nice meal in restaurant. However have stayed in better hotels at much less cost. Thought it was overpriced.
The bathroom could have done with updating - Tiling patched with grout. Breakfast left a lot to be desired and was not very warm.
