Very nice view for very reasonable price - good bed, clean shower. Good location for exploring Ayrshire I went to use the spa in the morning and despite the available time slots the beauty therapist never turned up! Also the staff did not know a nearby restaurant recommended in the michelin guide. Also I thought the breakfast was quite expensive - I just wanted a continental breakfast and I was charged £14.95 for a bowl of corn flakes!! |

Location, close to Prestwick Airport, overlooking Royal Troon. Room was small and dated. Had a parking lot view, long wait to be served in the dining room for expensive food. |

great location alongside Troon golf course. The interior is very modern, bright and comfortable. Some of the staff weren't very friendly (although the lady at reception in the morning was very helpful). We were taken aback when informed we couldn't get a table in the restaurant, given no prior warning of this, so ended up eating from limited menu in the bar. During the course of the evening we could see the restaurant was never more than half full. |

Lovely view from the window. Good breakfast, attentive staff. Some dusty corners both in room and public areas. Windows in need of painting, decor a bit tired. |

excellent location, professional staff, first class food, awesome views of the golf course and coast.I had an excellent service from the receptionist, she arranged for a change of room for us as we requested a room with a bath, this was no problem to the staff at all, very accomodating and friendly. The lighting in the fairways restaurant would have been better if lamps were used rather than the main ceiling lights, tha tables were also past their best, rocky tops etc. |

Quiet location near the sea, & on golf course, plus the room & comfort of a luxury hotel Breakfast price was £14.95 irrespective of whether you had a cooked or contintental. this was inflexible & expensive. The bedroom did not have a heated towel rail, yet invited guests not to change towels on a daily basis. The restaurant served tepid water, but did not leave the jug on the table Even Little Chef can manage a jug of iced water |

5 km far from Prestwick airport. There was a very bad smell in the bathroom which is not acceptable for the price we paid. The hotel was not full and even we stayed only 1 night they could give a beter room. |

This is no doubt a lovely coast hotel with fine sea views ... but I only stayed for one cold and windy night, and I was given a small corner room looking out on two blank walls, a pitched room and ventilation pipes. (Near the end of a three-week, multi-city trip, I was too tired to go back to reception and argue about it.) The restaurant and bar were pleasant, if pricey, and the room was comfortable. It was a little too easy to hear my neighbours' activities. The restaurant was out of at least one dish on a limited menu. And really, such depressing rooms should only be assigned if there is nothing else available; although it's possible, I would be surprised if that were the case on a Tuesday night. |

The setting of the hotel right on the Firth of Clyde, overlooking the Isle of Arran and having indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi to use. |

I stayed overnight in a delux room. It was a corner room which was large, spacious and had sea views on 3 sides. Staff were very friendly and the pool was lovely. I thought the breakfast and food in the bar was a bit expensive for what you got. Friends who were also staying commented that their room was at the back and were less effusive about the room reflecting other comments I read about the hotel. That's why I went for an up-grade to ensure I had a room at the front - and I'd say it was worth it! |

The bed was comfortable and the bedding immaculate. The porter was overly forward on our arrival, There were no towels or toiletries placed in our room and these had to be sent for at midnight, |

Proximity to many golf courses and the seaside of Ayrshire, with good access to Prestwick airport. Poor ventillation/airconditioning in bar area during warm weather. |

After a £1.8 million renovation, this 18th-century former coaching inn combines original character with modern luxuries, including king-size beds, media centres, powerful rain showers and free Wi-Fi. |
Impeccable service, laid back elegance and a refreshingly relaxed attitude all combine at this privately owned and proudly independent restaurant and hotel. |
