This small, family-run hotel has great sea views and a seafront location at the north end of the Promenade. Queensbridge Hotel is known for its comfort and good, friendly service.
Score from 195 reviews Good
Functionality more than luxury is the offering of this hotel but at such a competitive price who could complain. Friendly and helpful staff were a big plus. The hotel had been refurbished to a good standard. relative to its rating category with good all round cleanliness.
The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful
View from my window
tried to charge me 30% more on arrival; sewage smell in room; broken glass in shower; people trying to get in room in the middle of night. Management attitude toward all this not very responsive.
No reception available after 10. Could not get bulb for room.
Fantastic view, quiet and relaxing. Room spacious, got good deal on price, bit would not consider paying full tariff. although we didn't use there was a nice bar with TV and pool table, restaurant and evening meals available.
Just had a small room
Breakfast very good
Nothing bad except the weather!
The hotel had everything I needed for my overnight stay. The hotel was definitely value for money and the staff friendly and commited
The hotel really needs updated. Eighties style chintzy decor in the room we had, that had seen better days. Also not good value for money.
Hotel location beside the sea is very good.
nice food nice staff nice town nice small shops and cheap drinks in whetherspoons
Breakfast was a little disappointing although no where near enough as to put us off on returning . Good choice of cereal , yogurt and fruit juice . However just rather surprised that cooked breakfast was buffet style which unfortunately looked a bit "tired" .
Location was perfect for us, room was very clean and warm. Staff friendly and helpful. We would recommend a stay in room 111 !!!! Thank you
the on suite bedroom
Just a bit expensive for the facilities
Clean, great location, lovely rooms.
WiFi was very hit and miss
The staff were very friendly. Room well equipped and cosy.
We paid £110 for a deluxe room , on arrival to the room there was musty smell , and the room was no where near as big as it looked on pictures , the bath was dirty after cleaning the bath myself because nobody was at reception , I had a bath it was a jacuzzi bath great until the water decided to empty as I was in (so I wasn't happy ) because it took long enough to fill up , the windows were filthy , wanted an early night and to watch tv and we could only get 3 channels , the bed was to small and my partner slept in the chair most of the night , buffet breakfast to salty and cold made me feel sick for most of the day couldn't wait to leave to be honest , I wouldn't pay £110 either paid less for better defiantly wasn't deluxe to my standards .
The staff on reception were friendly and the sea view was lovely with the window open .
The hotel did not have our amended booking, but this was sorted out, without fuss, to our advantage. However, in a further mix-up, another couple were given our key and tried to enter our room. The spa bath was too small.
The hotel is on the sea front with a great view from the comfortable chairs in the bay window. The room was very nice and the breakfast was good.
Great location comfy room great breakfast
Location overlooking promenade and sea. Also good friendly service with welsh speakers and good breakfast.
The bathroom hadn't been cleaned on arrival
The friendliness of the staff and the location
Nice views from room , good food , friendly staff .
Fantastic location with room overlooking sea, friendly helpful staff and excellent breakfast. And the most sumptuous carpet ever in the Reception area! :-)
Bathroom floor ! Nasty floor tiles- really needs up dating with slate tiles or something similar Also there was not much choice for breakfast - no toast just fried bread, no alternative teas and no one around to ask
We enjoyed the fantastic sea views, the beds was comfortable eith okenty if towels, tea, coffee and biscuits although one pack for a family room was a tad mean The bar staff downstairs were very friendly
Poor cleanliness in bathroom, dirty towel found behind chair, dirty glass on tea tray.Cold rooms lack of heating. Unfriendly staff on reception. Booked with bath, shower only, although not sure would have sat in bath now!
The lady on the bar on the night of the 24th and then serving breakfast 25th,the only pleasant member of staff.
No bad experience
Staff friendly and great location. Parking area a benefit
Had one night to treat the grandsons and they really enjoyed it, The family suite was spacious with king size bed which would raise and lower head and feet, also vibrate soothing, and 3 singles 2 singles were in separate room area, great sea view, and help yourself breakfast with plenty of choice all well cooked 5 star from us, PS good parking
