This small, family-run hotel has great sea views and a seafront location at the north end of the Promenade. Queensbridge Hotel is known for its comfort and good, friendly service.

Score from 484 reviews Very good
On arrival without request both rooms were upgraded. really nice rooms.
Fantastic sea view, comfortable room, and very welcoming staff. Evening meal in restaurant not exciting, but well cooked and large portions - shame no-one else was dining there. Breakfast buffet had good choice of cooked food.
Decor in some places a bit outdated, but all was very clean, so not really an issue.
Broken shower which maintenance knew about but gave us room even though it wasn't fixed night of visit or next morning. Given faulty power shower instead. Given 3rd room to shower which was better. Staff took no responsibility. Only refunded £10.
We stayed in the family room. It's a fabulous spacious room with two bay windows overlooking the prom. It's brilliantly located, and overall very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!
The hairdryer desperately needed replacing. The shower was dodgy - there was a scrap of paper with a scribbled note about how to operate it. The bathroom was quite shabby, with nowhere to even put your toothbrush! Overall, just some minor attention to detail would be the making of the hotel.
we came to see them and saw them from the bay window fantastic
very small bathroom
Reception staff friendliness/helpfulness. Breakfast standard and service, my "full english" was cooked well and was served hot. Luke warm food is a pet hate of mine, so this was a delight to receiver and eat.. Room and facilities in room were very good.Sea view was brilliant. Location was good. Shower was fine.
If you really want me to be "picky" The 4 poster bed was a little too 'soft' for my taste. Bath water a little too cool for my wife and considering there were only a few guests in the hotel we would have expected really hot water. We had a sea view but there were sodium lights outside the window which made the room light even with the curtains closed.
view from room breakfast friendly
nothing at all
Well appointed room Friendly staff Great location Great breakfast
Shower sounded a little dodgy Isolator switch for shower had a glitch
Great location right on seafront. Lovely to fall asleep listening to the waves breaking on the beach.
Bed was too soft for my liking
Worth paying slightly extra for sea view, as going to sleep and waking to the sound of the sea is fantastic.
My sister & I stayed at the Marine Hotel for two nights in a twin room with a sea view. We had requested such a room & the staff had obliged us in our request. In fact, we found that ALL the staff were excellent throughout our stay from Reception, waiting-on staff at breakfast & cleaners. We will certainly book another break at the hotel & recommend the warm Welsh hospitality to our friends.
A very good position on the promenade and with a lovely sea-view. Good breakfast for a 3* rating and friendly/helpful staff.
The 'pet friendly' rooms are on the top floor and whilst they are reasonably furnished, they are incredibly small ! For £ 95.00 per night we expected much better. The heating control does not work and as the heating was on full, it was like being in an oven, even with the small window open. By all means sell these rooms, but be clear about what you are selling and do not charge 'top whack' for such a room. There is lack of information about the hotel within the room e.g. phone numbers, breakfast times, dining room opening times, bar opening times. Finally, a lack of friendliness at check-in and check-out. Good old warmth and smiles and friendly customer service go a long way.
The location was perfect Seaview
Interior in need of a touch up
Great location on sea front! Really friendly staff. Food was good and plenty of it.
Lovely hotel by the sea, friendly staff
Shower a bit fiddley to work out how to use, meal average
Traditional seaside hotel, friendly staff, clean room.
Sea was rough and noisy, not the hotels fault, but double glazing would cut the noise. Also students returning home from pub could be heard outside in early hours.
I liked the convenience and location ...close to town and right on sea front . I was lucky enough to have a sea view . Will definitely stay again m
Staff on reception not very friendly on arrival. Room very dusty.
friendly staff good breakfast
tiny bathroom room 226 i'm 6 feet tall and sat on toilet with head in wash basin tv didn't work electric cables taped together
Friendly, comfortable hotel . We had a room overlooking the promenade, and we're lulled to sleep by the sound of waves. Lovely!
We were woken at 1.15 a.m. By the fire alarm and had to evacuate the room, apparently someone in the bar had pressed the button. It would have been nice to have received an apology when checking out the next morning.
Accommodation was good, the jacuzzi bath was appreciated. The food was excellent and the service always with a smile.
Single glazed windows did not keep out the sound of the sea 'all through the night'
Room service for meals was very quick and a good choice of vegetarian food. Sea view was great. Breakfast was ok, easy to pick a few things to eat for a vegetarian.
Parking was limited. But parked on road close by ok. Very, very noisy with a music in the bar until 3am- 4am at least, drunks singing and shouting at the front of the hotel under my window until 4am, so got no sleep. Wifi very poor and unsecure,Some parts of the hotel in total disrepair. Go for a wander on the first floor and you'll find rooms with open doors that are totally derelict. Weird! Also I believe I got my debit card cloned there. Very expensive at £115 per night and totally not worth it.
Location Breakfast Staff
Was not much going on but it was a Sunday. Breakfast room was large with no external view would have been nice looking out to sea. However can understand the practicalities why not.
Location Good Breakfasts
No Towels on arrival. Evening meals were expensive
This is a lovely hotel and as we had brought our dog we were in the annex which is actually identical to the hotel but just another door way. We were given a lovely huge room with a sofa & 2 armchairs overlooking the sea, a large comfortable bed and pleasant public areas.
Just a niggle but no fresh fruit for breakfast just a single bowl of tinned grapefruit - a fresh fruit salad or a bowl of fruit would be nice
