The hotel location allowed for east access to bueatful walks along shoreline etc. Close to town for a look at local shops and bars etc. plenty of information regarding Bangor and surrounding area and activies Lord Nelson bar was staffed with very obliging staff as was l the hotel Staff and their presentation towards guest and hotel customers. Hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy and very relaxing wither you enjoyed the spa / pool facilities are chose just to chill out. Our stay was a very pleasent and relaxing time. Unfortunatly we had to leave early on the Sunday due to a sudden illness within the family circle. will certainly use hotel again and look forward do doing so. will recommand to family and friends. Thanks for a great time

Good location, friendly staff, gym and swimming pool, good food, cleanliness of room, good bar. The room and public areas of the hotel, although clean and tidy are becoming tired and will be in need of redecoration in the not too distant future.

I have stayed at the marine crt a number of times and have to say it's excellent value for money with fantastic views of the sea..You won't be dissapointed with the rooms as they are spacious and maintained to a good standard. The restaurant on the first floor offers a good menu.Spa facilites are good with a resonable size swimming pool. The bar and nite club on the ground floor is well managed with a good selection of music for all ages.Really you don't have to leave the hotel to have a good time but Bangor is a beautiful town with nice, relaxing walks around the harbour.Well done Marine Crt Bangor.

Happy memories of past times. Bed(s) were comfortable and spacious. Room(s) were clean. Restaurant staff were excellent. Good helpings of variety of nice food. First night had little sleep because room was situated at rear of hotel, adjacent to banqueting room/disco, and appeared to have little or no soundproofing. The disco music was extremely loud but came to an end at 1.00am. Unfortunately the comings and goings of noisy guests continued long after that. Discussed this issue next morning with reception clerk who agreed to move us to another room, although counldn't guarantee that it would be quieter. Thankfully, it was.

We found this hotel very basic for price, room had terrible view and room decor was very dated and room would have required some repairs. however it was clean.Breakfast was limited and we only offered a fry-up, no menu was offered.we only stayed one night as we were at a wedding elsewhere so did not mind the facilities but would have been very disappointed if i had booked this as a getaway.

Good location for my intended purpose. i) External Noise. Ii) Lack of small opener in window. Iii) Colour scheme dark and dismal, particularly in view of light saving in corridors. If artificial light is reduced, as it should be, then colour scheme should be brighter and more cheerful.

“Everything! From the welcome received at the reception to the consistent professionalism of all the staff we met. Our room was stunning - I could have happily spent the entire weekend in it! The view of Belfast Lough was "worth going the journey" for alone. All the meals we had were excellent, especially our meal in the Mitre restaurant. We were there the week before Christmas and already the atmosphere was very festive. Only wish we could've gone back for Christmas!” Maura, Kraainem |
