Very helpful, very pleasant and very available staff Inefficient and noisy flush, which is very annoying. Tiny and old bathroom. Basic and small room. I would qualified this establishment as a "budget hotel". I do not recommend it for a stay, an acceptable just choice for a night of passage

Friendly efficient staff, ideal location opposite beach and close to town centre, homely atmosphere, good food. Parking proved a little difficult. Televisions were a little too high up in the bedrooms.

We liked the owners and the location It needs more modernisation and we would not like to stay there when they have coach tour groups staying there as it would be too noisy with the entertainment.

Nightime staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast ok. Nothing. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again. They need to move into 21st century. Room cold although there is a heater. Bed uncomfortable. Furnishings very basic and old fashioned. Travellodge better and cheaper. Breakfast ok.

Sweet & cute waitresses serving breakfast room. Although fully booked, fairly quiet. Good Nepalese Indian restaurant 'Gurkha Delight' just behind the hotel on Seaside Rd. Being very slender myself, I wonder how some slightly broader person ever could pass the shower cabin doors, approx. 4 plus 4 inches.

Excellent customer service from a small, polite and friendly staff. A very comfortable bed in a small room with all the facilities you would require for the few hours spent resting during a quick business visit. Slightly down at heal but thats is to be expected at the price, very small room, but with a great view.

Very pleasant smallish hotel located on the seafront and close to the pier, with superb sea views from the front windows and very close to various amenities.

Friendliness of staff, lovely cooked breakfast and location! Very enjoyable stay, thank you! Only that we couldn't open the windows...but I understand this is for security as you wouldn't want anyone falling out of them!

The staff were so friendly, smiley and happy. Nothing was too much trouble, and there was always a welcome greeting on entering the hotel. They realised I was a tennis umpire and made sure I was given an order of play each day to peruse at breakfast. They also catered to my requirements at breakfast and in the room. The room was a little small, but I had booked a single so cannot really complain. I could here conversations in the room next door...

Overall it was comfortable, clean, friendly and great value. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this place to others. The decor is a bit old fashioned but this was really a minor point.

Family run, quiet hotel in perfect location. If you want to avoid the noisy hotels and enjoy a peaceful break, this is perfect. The front lounge is very nice for reading and relaxing with a view of the beach.
