Marine Parade Hotel

Very nice staff. The hotel was clean and secure. Just what I wanted for an overnight stay while visiting the area at the weekend.

Friendly owners and staff. Great location. Comfortable beds. Food was very nice.

Nothing to dislike.

The dotto railway, the Redoubt, the pier and bandstand, the esplanade, the variety of cafes, Beachy Head, all forms of transport, ease of getting to Brighton and Seaford, the Methodist Church, the theatre shows, the sea (to look at!). All made possible by excellent reception and service at Marine Parade Hotel. If you are not comfortably looked after, you cannot enjoy the town's facilities.

The weather could have been even better - but this is England!

The tasty breakfast and clean room. My bed was also very comfortable.And the staff were friendly.

The sun pearing through the skylight at 4:30am. Take sleeping ask if you are sensitive to light. This is by no means a negative on the hotel because the room I stayed in needed the skylight.

Dinig room spacious and light. Food good, but no extras offered. Electrics and plumbing all excellent. Skimy supplies of coffee/tea,shower gels shampoo. etc

Doors to rooms a shabby and old Window frames rotting - need replacing with double glazing. Need better fitting under sheets/mttress covers - cheap. Need attractive bed cover They should encourage use of dining room for Take-aways not punish for having them-bad attitude. Get commercial agreement for delivery service and advertise in each room. I came home late , was staying alone and did not feel like going out to a restaurant for an evening meal after my family funeral.

In a very good location, good breakfast, polite manager.

I decided to book two single rooms for one night for myself & my friend as we had a xmas Do booked at the hotel with our golf club & i specifically wanted rooms with a seaview , this was a bit extra to pay for so i was bemused when in the morning i had a pretty dismal view of a car park or yard ! My friend had the same sort of view apparently , i didn't complain as everything else was fine but i'm still pretty annoyed about it as i've paid for something i didn't get ;(

Excellent location right on the seafront.Comfortable rooms.

I was generaly clean and comftable.

The owner wasn't welcoming, when she realise there was 6 of us, all young girls we have been told to 'perchaps check in somewhere else'. Apart from that was ok.

Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of al staff. Relaxed and clean hotel

Near to beach . Clean and bright rooms sea views. Lift to every floor . Nice clean dinning room which served a excellent breakfast, just the right amount to set you up for the day .Town center close by, and train station . Would have liked to stay longer.

Nothing really , would have been nice if i had known there was a bath i could have used.And we thought had already paid in advanced so that was a bit confusing and not made clear enough when i booked ., a misunderstanding .
