Situated in the heart of Bowness, this cosy and traditional Lakeland inn is just 200 yards from Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake.
All rooms are en-suite with flat-screen TVs and DVD players. There is also an extensive DVD library for guests to use. All rooms have hairdryers and alarm clock radios, and laptops can be used in all rooms and public areas as the inn is Wi-Fi enabled.
After a day shopping, sightseeing or walking why not relax in the welcoming traditional bar serving a range of Jennings award-winning, cask conditioned ales, brewed in the Lake District. The inn has been awarded the coveted ‘Cask Mark’ accreditation in recognition for the way they look after their beers. The Mariner’s Inn is the only pub in Bowness to have been awarded this accreditation.

The traditional Lakeland inn is situated in the centre of Bowness, the Lake District's most popular destination. It is handy for shopping and dining, and is very close to Lake Windermere. It is an excellent base for walkers, sailing on the lake, fishing, or just chilling out.

- Follow the main road (Lake Road) towards the lake.
