all of it
No access except through back door
Location and ease of access to theatres
Checked in and checked out after seeing the entrance I was supposed to use at night ... Very unsafe
It was on oxford st.
U had to enter thru a tacky souvinier shop and after 10 at nite entry was via a back lane which was dirty and obviously doubled up as a toilet for the local drunks. The room was so small the gap from the bed to the wall was 2 feet. The shower room was so small it was hard to turn around!.
this hotel dose not have a normal entrance. to enter you can either go through a shop and out the back door into a stairwell that leads up to reception. A bit weird but bearable. But when the shop shuts you must use the back entrance. Which exits into an seedy alleyway where you must walk around 2 corners to get to the road. The room was also tiny for the price payed. Not happy.
Location That is all
First of all you cannot find it!! the entrance is through a gift shop which closes at 10pm so you have to use the back alley which is dark and unsafe. The room was smaller than a shoe box , ripped wall paper, SO loud we didnt sleep ALL night. The bathroom was a joke you have to turn sideways to get in and when your sat on the broken toilet seat the hand wash basin was over your lap! the shower had 1 setting which was kettle water hot so we had to use a wet towel to clean. RUINED our "romantic" valentines trip. SHOCKING
Being right on Oxford Street for a reasonable price.
The fixtures and fittings were in a poor state - the window wouldn't close fully so we couldn't shut out the noise from outside. If the weather had been colder the draught from the window would have been a problem. The room was tiny (which we knew when we booked). Having to walk through a dark pot-holed yard to use the back door after 10pm, and rely on other guests to lock the door (which some didn't)
The location was amazing
its very small and the entrance is hidden either from inside a shop or from the back door in very small street but its good for sleep and shower
Location unsafe Unable to reduce the heat in the room and and shower didn't work. Very small and overpriced
Great place to stay cheap, room was clean, fresh bedding. Booked 1 night ended up staying 2, owners assisted with all our needs very friendly. Nice shop below hotel with friendly owner. No problems .... Would stay here again :)
booked double room with shower, toilet & sink - was a little small for 2 people but managed. Didnt like the fact had to use back door after 10pm as i was with my fiance wasnt an issue but if i was travelling alone i would be put off.
A really poor hotel
Location is on Oxford St, close to theatres shops and attractions. Bed was comfortable and appeared clean and fresh
The room & bathroom are very small and need attention. The entrance after 10pm, is via the back alley, which is off a side street, which again is off a side street, off Soho Square. Feels very unsafe! The room is single glazed with a rusty window that does not close, The noise levels are very high at weekends practically all night long, we had about an hour of reasonable levels until builders started up at about 06:30hrs. Stairs to 1st floor are irregular and in places quite steep. Location of front entrance is at the back of a tourist souvenir shop.
This facility should not be called a hotel. The entrance and back street exit down a crack alley sums it up. Poor
The location was perfect.
The sheets had some stains on them which meant we slept with our clothes on. The back way was dangerous through an alley at night. Too many stairs and staff limited English.
-No Wifi Code Given -No Entrance - you have to enter through a shop! - You have to use back exit after 10pm, this takes you into an array of dark london alleyways, not safe. - On check, no staff on reception room
I liked the free wifi and the fact it was on Oxford street.
200 characters isn't enough,... It smelt like a curry house, no one spoke English so took half hour to check in, we couldn't even get ready properly due to no space in the room, I had to run over to McDonald's over the road to do my makeup. Neither me or my partner could fit in the shower so we had to stick each limb separately, the walls was like paper, we could here everything going on throughout the hotel, there was no plugs reachable as the bed frame was pushed up against it like the rest on the room, as soon as you opened the door you had half a step forwards and two steps left or one right and that's all the room you had to stand, the mini fridge had looked/felt like someone had plugged it in 5 mins before, the shelf in the bathroom was literally on one hindge to the point we put our tooth brushes on it and it fell so luckly my partner could fix it. At first we thought it was a cheap grab but I wouldn't of paid more than £10 for that room no matter the location, considering you had to go through a shop to get to the front door and through 2dark ali-ways and try 3 different doors To find this 'white' door so we rang the night porter, he answered after four attempts, but we didn't understand him either as he spoke no English, so we had to ask someone at the construction site down the road! The 'hotel' was literally a house that has been renamed as a hotel and proberly half the rooms cut in half with a wall inbetween each one, or a piece of plywood. Not happy and so we planned we would enjoy our night out and forget about the room and complain calmly in the morning to the receptionist but correct me if I'm wrong,... The receptionist job is someone who sits at the desk so we could check out,,.
Location was great
Didnt like the fact you have to walk through a shop to get to it and after 10 when the shop closes you have to walk through back streets which you wouldnt do alone Didnt like the fact the door to hotel could potetially be left open no tea/coffee or any kind of refreashments
on oxford street very near tottenham court road station
Not realy a hotel, access through a tack shop, rooms are the shops storage area changed to accomadate a bed. night access definatly not safe for women, even if you can find it.
Had to goe in to a souvenir shop in order to get in to the hotel. Small stairs not even fitted for suitcases. Room without shower, not clean and no fire alarms or exit signs. This is more like an apartment rather than a hotel. We paid for cancellation and went out to look for a hotel.
Location in town was great, however everything else was bad.
Internet didn't Work first night. 1-lay glass directly to Oxford Street - meaning af lot of noise ALL night. Entrance through a shop. After 10pm / before 10 am entrance through a VERY dark and unsafe backyard. EXTREMELY non-recommendable. Not a "real" hotel, no facilities att all except Internet. At most a one-star "hotel":
The Shower was ok, and that is about it.
The length of the bed was wall to wall. the width was against one wall with a less than 2ft gap the other side, You could not both walk in there as there was only barely enough room for 1 person, I had to lay on the bed so my partner could get past and use the toilet. It was very claustrofobic. a nightmare to be honest. I would not recommend this to anyone as it was as i said a cupboard with a bed in it.
Location Staff were very helpful Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Room was very very small No Lift Room was very noisy due to the fact that we were facing directly on to Oxford street.
This hotel was good. A stones throw away from Tottenham court rd underground. We were greated well by the receptionist who showed us too our room. The bed was comfortable with fresh sheets and clean. There were towels and toiletries provided
The room and bathroom were small but basic. The windows were not double glazed so you could hear the buzz of the traffic and people outside, but it's was Ocford street after all!!
