The proprietors were most welcoming and the attention to detail was excellent. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was delicious. The owners were relaxed, friendly and very professional. Can't fault it and will be going back. The best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Found it slightly dsconcerting to be constantly greeted in hall on our arrival at guest house- perhaps had reason to be extra safety conscious?

I really could not fault this guest house. Steve and Amanda put everything possible in to make the stay comfortable. In particular the excellent breakfast and the extra luxury touches such as the coffee machine and the home made cake and flapjacks make this a deserved five star experience.

Loved the attention to detail and the added extras of home made sweets and cake provided upon arrival. Also loved we could get fresh milk for tea or coffee in our room rather than uht milk. Breakfeast was first class and i can highly recommend a stay here for anyone.

Friendly and helpful owners but not too instrusive. Room was very well furnished with all the facilities that you would need. Breakfast was well prepared with a good selection of homemade products.

Sink in bedroom was a bit strange - tap was in a difficult position in relation to sink. Not a major issue!!

Amanda and Steve made us feel very welcome nothing was too much trouble The food was delicious and the red room was excellent value for money We had ahold view out of the window in our room of the new year eve firework display I would highly recommend this guest house because it also has An excellent location for countryside and the Northumbrian coast I would use this guest house again

Owners were helpful and friendly, and gave us plenty of hints and information on the area.

We had to leave the car parked overnight on the main road, which was not what we had expected.

Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and to be welcomed back from a long days walking with a delicious slice of homemade cake was heavenly! Our room was very comfortable with the bed being the most comfy that we have yet experienced in a guest house, also the cleanest! Having a deep, relaxing bath, in the huge roll topped bath was absolute bliss. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of cereals, homemade granola, fruit, juices and homemade bread and preserves. There was a good selection of cooked breakfast to follow, all cooked fresh and to perfection.

Possibly having tables for two in the breakfast room. Its nice to get to know other holiday makers, but sometimes its preferable to just 'chill' and enjoy a quiet breakfast, without feeling the need to make conversation with strangers.
