Just across from the Queen's College playing fields and a 10-minute walk from the center of Oxford, the Falcon B&B is housed in 2 late-Victorian town houses and offers views of the college boathouses....

Just a few minutes’ walk from Oxford city center, the Head of the River is on the banks of the scenic Thames River. The traditional inn features a riverside terrace and a stylish restaurant.

I really liked the kitchenette within the room, the room itself was excellent, comfortable and clean .
Our suite was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet. Staff very pleasant and helpful and it was a treat to be served a cooked breakfast in our room the next morning. Will definitely return. Thank You Marlborough House.
Loved the kitchenette Very spacious Food in the room
The hotel - which is really a large B@B - is about a mile and a half from city centre on a main road, with regular buses in and out. We had the 'Guest Suite' which is very large with excellent kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed. Breakfast brought to your room which was fine by us but some might find a bit odd!
Decor a little tired, and bathroom could do with some modernising, though all functional.
Kitchenette in the room.
Everything, breakfast served in room, best tea making facilities in any hotel I have stayed in and probably the largest room ever.
Very helpful staff, clean room, good facilities, good location.
We were surprised that staff were hoovering / cleaning outside our door and in the corridor on and off for about an hour on Saturday afternoon when we were trying to read and relax!
Very friendly stuff!
A good size room. Nice bed Fridge Free car parking Close to the city centre & Bicester village
Breakfast served in the room & quite early!!!
Staff very helpful. Breakfast served in the room.
Struggled to turn one of the bathroom taps off.
unable to stay longer. i have just started work in Oxford and would like a mon to friday every week deal until i sort out other accommodation.
Good sized room and bathroom. Plenty of hot water.
Breakfast did not arrive and when it did it wasn't what I asked for. Tasted good though!
Clean, good kitchenette, friendly, good service.
Shower was a bit old.
Staff were friendly and proactive and helpful Room was pleasant. Breakfast in bed was excellent - very good quality, non greasy full english.
Bed was a little firm but nothing wrong with it
Very friendly, helpful staff. On a main bus route into the centre of Oxford. Quiet. Excellent little kitchenette with fridge, kettle, sink and microwave plus excellent supply of milk, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Comfortable beds. Good central heating so pleasantly warm. You could order breakfast for an extra £5.50 per person.
We were at the top of the house and the shower wasn't very hot, although the water in the taps was. We knew breakfast wasn't supplied but didn't want the extra cost.
The Marlborough House impressed me with its spotless cleanliness, tasteful room decor, and very useable kitchenette. The room also had a nice clock radio and a flat screen television. It is located a bit too far from the center of Oxford for a comfortable walk, but there is a bus stop right across the street and the buses to the center come frequently. There is grocery shopping not far away. I found the staff cheerful and friendly. I regard it as very good value for the money.
The Marlborough House could use an elevator. Getting a heavy bag downstairs was a problem.
A warm welcome and great facilities in a convenient location
Good location, bus stop just across road into city. Large room, bit dated but very clean.
It was great to be able to treat the room like a living room - pleasant and well appointed.
Clean, friendly, convenient for school.
Bed was very uncomfortable as were pillows. A bit too overheated. Gurgling sink in room.
Easy to find. Good location. Very spacious room well furnished. Friendly receptionist.
The bathroom was a it dated and the shower required quite a bit of trial and error to turn off
The staff was very nice and helpful.
It took a bit long to wait water getting hot.
Very comfortable room, handy to have the kitchenette with proper fridge, microwave and fresh milk. It's on a pleasant, quiet street so there is none of the noise from traffic or late night revellers that you would get staying in the centre. It's easy to park there and it's on a very convenient bus route (get a day pass, good value.
The walls are a bit thin so sounds from the reception area or adjoining rooms can be heard - however, this is hardly a problem as it's generally a quiet place.
There was plenty of hot water, the beds were decent, staff was extremely friendly. Maybe request for a room that doesn't face the main road as it gets a bit noisy. But everything else was perfect.
