Good sized room and bed. Good bathroom and fittings. Very convenient location for Blenheim Palace. Woodstock v pleasant town. No bar or restaurant. Room was on main road with double decker buses parking outside, therefore somewhat noisy and privacy compromised.

The location. Walking distance from Blenheim Palace. The building, decor, secure parking. Quiet room overlooking pretty courtyard. The adjective "luxury" which it uses to describe itself. Good, it is but it's rather more on the side of basic.

Good size room, Big bed, English breakfast filling and lovely sunny breakfast room,Woodstock pleasant. Internet access useful. Bed a little soft for me, but might well suit others perfectly.

Excellent location - walk to Blenheim Palce, bus to Oxford at front door, choice of local pubs etc. Deluxe room was very comfortable and spacious. Had to go into corridor to get internet reception

The Malborough Arms was ideally located. Excellent value with large comfortable bedroom and large walk-in shower.Management and staff were polite and friendly.A wonderful historic building with antiques, creaking floorboards and sloping floors all adding to the ambience and feel.

Possibly the best nights stay away we have had in a long long time - the bed was so comfy I just didn t want to get up - and breakfast was perfect ! I would recommend 100% just perfect

Comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. Accomodating hosts. if you didnt know the area as we did not then the front of the hotel looked unwelcoming as it was in darkness. It did give you a phone no to ring but it would have been nice to have a sign to tell you where to go.

The location is great and the building very attractive. The breakfast was also good. We were only informed on arrival that there would be a wedding taking place We were then directed to a room on the stairs just above the reception area where the proceedings were taking place. The music was on until 11:30 but the revellers did not depart until the early hours. Meaning we could not relax or get to sleep. When we suggested that someone from the wedding party would have been better suited to the room, we were informed by the manager that it was up to her how the rooms were allocated and that she could have put us in the room outside where 'everyone smokes' but she thought we'd 'hate that'. Her attitude was very off-hand and we were not offered an alternative. This was our anniversary break and it was spoiled by the attitude of the hotel management.
