Comfortable and spacious
Some facilities were broken eg bathroom fan, cooker extractor fan Although apartment had obviously been cleaned (fresh bed linen, bathroom) neglected to clean work tops, tables, as drink ring marks were clearly visible remnants of previous guest feels uncomfortable as hygiene is a personal priority when choosing holiday.
Good location, handy having Tesco nearby.
No Airconditioning, was very warm. was offered a fan that helped a bit. avoid this place in warmer weather. Also Agreement with deposit is a bit bad
Moving glass on bedside tables is very dangerous. If they fall and break, they could slice into someone. I have had this happen. Very dangerous. Also Bath needs Non slip mat as existing surface is worn and no grab rails to avoid falls
Balcony - city skyline views. Friendly and helpful staff.
No air can - too hot and stuffy in rooms and in the hall ways of hotel
Separate living and kitchen areas make it a more enjoyable stay. The apartments were clean and well appointed. I would recommend these. The location was very good.
Location close to boroughs tube station Location close to boroughs market Walking distance to London bridge & area over Thames close to London bridge Walking distance to elephant & castle station & bakerloo line Walking distance to bermondsey restaurants Walking distance to tower bridge & river Secure Quite & private
Stuffy needed air conditioning in room or ventilation poor Washer/dryer difficult to work & instructions poor Lack of crockery & cutlery - basic 4 settings Plunger coffee not expresso Basic washing powder x2 - travelling & needing to do washing Washer/dryer harsh on clothes - no clothes airer No exhaust in bathroom Staff unfriendly & lack understanding of forms they required
Good location: supermarket downstairs, park next to building, bus and tube stops very close. Apartment was well fitted with everything we needed for our one-week stay. Were flexible about allowing us a (paid-for) early check-in
Overall cleanliness of the building could be improved. Somewhat noisy based on the number and type of tenants. Hot in the summer and not great natural ventilation. Somewhat challenging to get staff to inform and change cleaning day.
Location. Size of apartment
Several small problems like no kettle and the tv difficult to use as there were no instructions. Concierge staff could not help - they could only refer to building manager in normal working hours. So it's a matter of luck- if everything works you would be quite happy but if there was a real problem you may be quite UNhappy!
The second time we have stayed at Marlin apartments. Had a room with balcony, great views of Shard and surrounding landmarks. Very clean and comfortable with helpful efficient staff. Great for a morning/day in borough market and its restaurants. good chinese takeaway round the corner and next door to late Tescos. Would definitely stay there again.
double beds a little flimsy but comfortable nonetheless
What didn't i like?
Couldn't fault it
Very clean and comfortable(especially beds and pillows) Also felt secure. Excellent location for South Bank etc. P'raps a little far from my son in East Dulwich, but bus stop not far and direct service. Ideal for Tesco Xpress !!
Not really much to dislike. Just some details to improve eg - would like more cutlery and crockery, as it felt wasteful putting dishwasher on every time. Hooks on back of doors would be useful in bathroom and bedroom. PS New sofa beds aren't very comfortable to sit on prefer the old ones !!
Location was good. Liked having a front desk.
Did not like unairconditioned apartment. Did not like the unairconditioned and small elevators.
Stay here about 2 or 3 times a month for a few nights each time for work. Always really good would recommend if you don't want a hotel. Also a 1 bed apt can sleep up to 4 so great value !
I once had no hot water but was immediately moved to another apartment straight away no hassle.
We had to change rooms 3 times as services/facilities didn't work. Last Apartment was not secure as door to outside didn't lock. No offer of help to move rooms. Corridor smelt. Carpet old and dirty. 2nd rate apartment complex at best. Would never recommend.
Location and comfortable.. Room has everything we need only missing a handcream in the bathroom.
Dirty floor - stains. Cutlery needed more cleaning and towels had marks in bathroom.
My completete credit card being visible with start and expiry dates on the receipt. Usually, the 1st 12 numbers are not printed on the recieipt for security reasons
Great location, will definitely be staying again in the future. Highly recommend.
No air conditioning.
location is good, room is big enough, still a little bit expensive and we stayed for 3 nights without any room service..
The location was perfect the apartments were amazing!...peaceful and lovely view over the gardens!...and the receptionist was amazing!...regretfully I don't remember her name but she had long dark hair and spoke with an accent!...she couldn't have been more helpful!
Well in a nut shell!...the housekeeper seriously needs to consider moving the bed(apart no.2) to clean up!!...really odd how the rest of the apartment was immaculate but under the bed was disgusting!...there was weeks worth of dirt under there...shocking!
Location. Perfect for walkabouts around local shops, pubs etc
Friendly staff .... Good sized apartment
Location not so great .... But ok
Location, comfort, spacious and cleanliness
Hot & cold water tap in the bathroom
I didn't like the fact you changed the room last minute wasn't convenient for us and no compensation was given or anything would never suggest to friends or family.
Very clean, modern decor, ideal for 1 night with a young baby
Half way through having a shower the water went freezing.
