Marlin Empire Square  

Everything was as stated in the brochure and met all our expectations. Contrary to some other reviews we found the staff friendly,efficient and professional.We also found - again contrary to another review - that we did not need to provide our own toilet paper. For anybody who is coming to London for sight seeing,this is a perfect base in terms of proximity/access to London's more notable sites.With Borough Tube Station right beside you,getting anywhere via the underground could not be handier. We will be back!!!!

With only a central lift position, you may have to walk a fair distance to your room. Also check out @ 10.30.am is really too early

The room was nice and having sky tv was a bonus.

The price of the debit u take invade ov damages! And how long it takes to be returned to me! Also half past ten for check out is far too early!

Marlin apartment has a great location, just right beside London Bridge. I booked one bed apartment which was really spacious and comfortable plus very well equiped.

Staff were rude and were willing to let a 27 year old woman leave with nowehere else to go, despite the room already being paid for, because she didnt have the right type of card to pay an extra £200.

The great view, the comfortable apartment and the near supermarkets and tube station.

That the hot water runs out too quickly.

The room was much better than I anticipated. It had a full kitchen with washing machine, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Near to the tube and easy to self cater with Tesco next door. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fairly large apartment, convenient for Borough tube

(1) Was told my room was available on the phone but they didn't mention the £20 'early check-in charge' until I got to reception. Completely unprofessional. (2) Apartments are advertised for their sky high views across the city. Our room was on the 2nd floor and all we could see out the window was the back of a nearby building (3) No Aircon!!! (4) Nobody cleans your room or supplies fresh sheets/towels. In short, spend your money on a proper hotel!

The location is great, nice apartament, clean rooms, good facilities. Go there, you'll enjoy.

There is no posibility to ajust the shower (hight, pressure of water), the sink cloggs easily, old Toshiba tv, no sports channels, only annoying British channels.

Staff very unhelpful. Cleaning staff very loud and woke us up on both mornings. Fixtures missing from room.

Location good as I needed to be close to local hospital where my husband was having major surgery. Apartment was like a home from home where I could relax, make whatever food I wanted to suit me, (Tesco express just outside building was so convenient) and to have the washing machine was a real bonus as I had to stay longer than anticipated. The apartment was very clean and fittings and furniture of a good quality, bathroom modern with good shower and bath. It felt good to have my own space at that time rather than a hotel room. I would definitely stay again.

The weather was very hot during part of my stay, 29c and as there was no air conditioning and windows only opened a set amount the apartment did get quite hot at times.
