The lack of fuss and the efficiency. In this instance I was not inconvenienced but the check out time is a little early |

Location is excellent and apartments have everything in them to make it a home from home. Local Tesco right outside and very good transport links. The apartments are starting to show signs of wear and tear - carpets stained and walls look like they could do with painting. |

The facilities offered were just what was needed, and the apartment was very relaxing and comfortable. Only a few small complaints about cleanliness; crumbs on the sofa, water marks (possibly stains) on the kitchen side and a small patch of damp peeling paint on the wall in bathroom. Two marks on the carpet in the bedroom. Didn't bother us at all, but without those small things, we would have been blown away with the apartment, as we really enjoyed ourselves. |

We liked the flexibility that staying in an apartment gave us, the fact that we could self cater was a particular plus for us. I went to dispose of rubbish in the basement and stupidly did not take the fob which gives acess to the building, the door shut behind me and I found myself shut in the car park area, i tried the emergancy door release button which did not allow me to open the door, I also tried pressing the button for the concierge on two different doors but there was no answer, I was eventually given access to the main building when a couple were going into thier appartment building. The call buttons for the concierge need to be fixed or monitored. The appartment we were in was extreemly hot we did not run any heating and left the windows open most of the time, perhaps the installation of fans in the living room and bed room areas would help with this. |

Clean and spacious apartment. Good value for money. In Hindsight, probably too far away from the area of London we needed to be. |

Myself and collegues frequently stay in London to attend conferences. Previously we have stayed in Hotels. I prefer the flexibility of staying in Apartments and would use this service again. I would also recommend this to colleagues. |

The Apartments are central and easy to get to from London Bridge Station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and polite. There was no hairdryer in the room which was rather annoying, apparently the staff are told there is a shortage of funds!! Perhaps someone could sort this out as it is very annoying when you are in a hurry and you have nothing to dry your hair with. |

The location was ideal for the visit we were making walking distance for city tube and South Bank. The appartment was well equiped and more than adequate for a shot stay. There were no facilities for recycling newspapers or glass. All waste was put in to the waste shute |

Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, gorgeous apartment with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bedding luxurious (and I am very fussy about bedding). Full size bathroom with plenty of hot water and a good sized well equiped kitchen area. The lounge area was really comfortable with a flat screen tv and dvd player. The apartments are easy to find and in a nice area and an exellent location for wandering along the Thames, restaurants etc. Tesco metro downstairs and a Sainsbury up the road. Really superb and very much recommended. Two little things, our apartment wasn't ready when we arrived, still being cleaned but was so spotless when we got in it didn't really matter. Another minor problem which is not Marlin's fault is that the square acts like an amphitheatre at night and the sound really travels, there was a largish group somewhere having far too much fun at 4am for my liking... Still, I just shut the amazingly well sound-insulated window and I could barely hear them (hope thay had terrible hangovers all the next day though!) |

the fact that it was a bit bigger than a hotel room and the fact that there is free on street parking nearby at weekends 1. didn't get the real story about why we didn't get the balcony room requested. i would like to have known why the room next door to us (we were in 89, they were in 88) was a larger room with a balcony.....i couldn't even be told if this was a 2-bed. 2. your staff in your office at empire square are not informed enough about the facilities at the hotel and the staff at reception were not empowered to put me into a better room 3. the customer support services after 6pm are inadequate 4. we had a messy carpet in the bedroom 5. we had partygoers in the room next to us and the walls are thin - and given that the hotel reception were not able to move us, we had a very poor nights sleep |

Location was great, right on top of a Tesco and 1 street away the underground. The flat was spacious (we were lucky to get a spacious one, our friends got a smaller one for the same price) The flat smelt bad, (I think it was the carpet), the kitchen dustbin was broken (the lid was detached from the leg pedal release), the iron board stand was broken (safety risk). Very unfriendly welcome. Check in time was not suitable for us. |

location For a full week, the Internet worked only intermitently, and was always switched of during the evenings from 6 PM until late the following morning. There was no way to get this resolved with the staff and the IP. They even suggested we had a problem with our computer, instead of verifying what the problem was. Very frustrating. |

Easy check in, modern, bright clean apartments. Excellent facilities in the apartments. Convenient car parking and public transport facilities. Too hot, even in september, perhaps the provision of a fan, or better still airconditioning would help. We would not stay in this hotel in summer. |

This was our third stay in the past 60 days. We were thrilled to be back at such a wonderful facility! Everything is at your fingertips: groceries next door, tube station within a half a block, comfortable apartment layout, perfectly equipped. On our most recent stay, we left a competitor only blocks away after a disastrous two sleepless nights... and luckily were able to stay again at the Marlin, for a justifiably higher price. We cannot say enough good things, including about the professionalism of the office staff who handled our specific requests courteously and effectively. This place is well designed, and efficiently managed. Thank you, Marlin!! |

very close to Borough tube station and convenient for Borough Market. Spacious, comfortable apartment. Tesco next to the apartments. carpets in apartment were filthy, with large stains on them. Window hinge mechanism was broken in one bedroom and was dangerous, door out of sitting room onto balcony was broken and would not shut properly. Seal under shower glass in bathroom was missing, meaning water going all over floor. Maintenance needs to be improved. View was not as suggested on website, just down a street, looking onto houses on the other side of the road. |

It was great to have room to move around and not be on top of each other in one room The pots, pans, crockery etc provided was cheap and nasty and when we arrived there was one pan provided for a family apartment. The apartment was really hot and airless. |
