I didn't like the fact that their is no porter to help you out with luggage and the fact that the staff are not helpful. They also have very old T.V's in the apartments. I don't think I'll stay there again.
The price of this was less than the local holiday inn hotel room. Apartment was very clean and spacious.
The overall quality of the room and the views were stunning.
Quite a late check in time
Area and staff as well as the room
You had to pay for faster internet
Location and the option of having more space than just a room. Excellent fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The maid service programme for mondays did not work
Brilliant location! It was my 1st visit to London ever & I was delighted! My partner travels to London all her life & always wanted to find a place like this one! Where she would feel homey, cosy, but at the same time the place would be clean & new, not 'dirty-old-carpets-style'. We could not ask for more! View over the Shard both from bed & the living room made it even more special! We will come back!
The only not 100% positive was that the heater did not warm up enough water & so only one of the two of us could have a shower. The other of the two then had to wait for 20mins for the water to heat up again.
There is a supermarket in the building. Bus stop and train station nearby.
Reservation staff brusque and nit what I'm used to from hospitality personnel in the southern hemisphere.
Arriving by car with no parking available until after check in Had to park one mile away and walk back to check in and then return to collect car
Location not bad.
- Location (difficult to find not central street); - service (I was provided with absolutly different room as on photo, with out a big windows and nice view); - breakfast it's something special( it's not really a breakfast, they just give you some set of products from the nearest market and do not ask do you want this or maybe not, plus on Suturday at my check out day i do not receive even this set of products from the market as they call breakfast and during check out lady was apsent and when i write a e-mail from the airport thet i do not had my set of product this day as breaksfast and ask them not to charge my credit card for that, i've got a reply that it was Suturday and they do not want to wake me up with a breakfast and will charge my credit card any way!!!! With all respect I'm strictly not recomend this place to no one !!!
Check in: despite paying in full Before arrival when we arrived and due to no parking outside ,my wife tried to get The keys for the underground parking, but they wouldn't give her the key as she hadn't made the booking they insisted that I had to come to the reception with photo id, after travelling 200 miles not a good start to my break, illogical and pointless what is the chance of a perfect stranger coming in off the street and having the same surname as me
It was clean, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable (though the coffee table was broken, which we did tell reception), we would have liked an easy chair - there was just the sofa-bed to sit on, and there was plenty of room for one. It has a very handy Tesco downstairs, and is in a great location. Very much a home from home with all the advantages an hotel cannot provide. We note the review you publish on this page, but as it refers to the upper floors, we cannot equate it with our experience.
Being put on the first floor: overlooked, planted area full of cigarette butts, couldn't leave windows open at night - noise from people outside in garden till very late, inside extremely noisy in corridor all night. Someone kept ringing our bell then disappearing. Extremely loud music from another apartment. It is sad that, with all the good things, we cannot say we would book again only to risk being shoved on to that first floor.
Enjoyed having facilities to cook and space to 'spread out' rather than being confined to a hotel room. The apartment was spacious, clean and there were basic cleaning products (dishwasher tablets, washing up cloth, bin liners etc) provided as well as tea/coffee and milk for tea and toiletries. Staff were helpful when we had an issues with the TV! Location was excellent for Borough Market and also easy access to London Bridge and Borough tube stations. We would book again!
It would have been helpful to have instructions for the oven and an oven tray to use in the oven - although the other appliances had instructions so this may be a one off! The noise of the neighbours above and below prevented a good nights sleep - the first night, guests above us were loudly talking and laughing until 3am and the second night our neighbours next door woke us at 4am shouting to each other and slamming doors! I appreciate that there may be little the management, can do in these circumstances, short of soundproofing, but it would be helpful if noise levels restrictions were highlighted and enforced and those staying showed respect for their fellow guests!
Well equipped apartment; Comfortable; Quiet.
Close to London Bridge station
Lack of amenities/facilities - e.g. trolley for suitcases was not practical. TV was very old and the remotes didn't work. Lack of instructions in the welcome pack e.g. no instruction on how to dial the reception. The staff was not friendly or welcoming.
EVerything was perfect
The fact the hot water didnt work in the morning
It was a good sized apartment an fairly central
The apartment is nothing like the pictures. I booked an apartment with a balcony and a view across London and the Shard, I got 2nd floor no balcony, staff say that pictures are an example not the actual apartment, then it's misleading very poor and dirty
Thouroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay! Great value for money. Modern, clean and great view of the Shard! 2 min walk to the underground. Would recommend!
Staff is very helpful for any question you would imagine addressing to them!
Pictures of a two apartment room on the booking.com is misleading! The astonishing view is available ONLY from their penthouse apartment, which has NOTHING to do with regular two bedroom apartments. Pity and frustrating...
There nathing to say there thing is good a+ service
Have found our "pied a terre" in London without having to get a mortgage. Superb facilities, and in the right spot for us. We'll be here often.
The bathroom was overheated. That's it really.
good location clean spacious everything you need really Tesco beneath Tube station just down the road
Didn't like the fact I was supplied with one bar of soap and one small container of shampoo during my 2-week stay.
location, five minute walk to London Bridge modern apartment small supermarket at the bottom floor
bedroom was a bit small
Brilliant location with proximity to bars and restuarants and Borough Market. Tesco supermarket next door. Borough station 5 minutes walk London Bridge 10 minutes walk. The Shard 5 minutes walk.
Bedroom was very small no room to unpack cases. Bed was very soft. Lift lobby outside room not cleaned regularly. Would have liked room to been cleaned during our 4 night stay.
