Marlin Apartments - Empire Square

Nära Borough Market. Gott om bra restauranger i närheten,Southwark är en trevlig lite förbisedd del av London. Hotellet har fina,lägenheter med mycket god standard om man jämför med hotell i samma prisklass.

Fläckig sovrumsmatta,synd på en så i övrigt fin lägenhet,tråkigt att utcheckning är så tidigt som 10,00,speciellt som man inte får checka in före 15,00.

Det var rent och snyggt och bra läge med närhet till kommunikationer.

Jag och några till gäster hade missupfattat tiden för inchekningen men blev inte särsklit bra bemötta av personen i receptionen. Det fanns ingenstans att ställa bagaget heller.

Det var centralt belägget, det var en rymlig, ljus, modern och välplanerad lägenhet. Och mycket tyst och ostört från gatan. Välventilerat.

Sängen var rejält nerlegad, typ kälkbacke. Våra ryggar tog stryk. Dåliga sänglampor som var svåra att läsa vid. Köket: stekpannan var alldeles för liten, rymde på sin höjd ett stekt ägg. Sammanfattningsvis bra lägenhet, men byt ut madrasserna!

Mkt hjälpsam personal, luftig lägenhet, nära till Borough Market

Rätt dåligt städat vid incheckning, ingen info om vad som kan vara bra att ha med, tex diskmedel etc.

Fantastiskt lägenhetshotell till ett bra pris. Lägenheten hade allt man kan önska. Nära till tunnelbanan. Tyst, lugnt, rent.

Personalen i receptionen, conciergen, var inte särskilt hjälpsam.

These Apartmennts were in an excellent position to explore the city of London and its environs. The apartments are very well equipped and spotless. They really provide a home from home. It only cost us eight pound to get there from Liverpool Street Station. The staff were excellent.

The lack of fuss and the efficiency.

In this instance I was not inconvenienced but the check out time is a little early

The facilities offered were just what was needed, and the apartment was very relaxing and comfortable.

Only a few small complaints about cleanliness; crumbs on the sofa, water marks (possibly stains) on the kitchen side and a small patch of damp peeling paint on the wall in bathroom. Two marks on the carpet in the bedroom. Didn't bother us at all, but without those small things, we would have been blown away with the apartment, as we really enjoyed ourselves.

Clean and spacious apartment. Good value for money.

In Hindsight, probably too far away from the area of London we needed to be.

The Apartments are central and easy to get to from London Bridge Station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and polite.

There was no hairdryer in the room which was rather annoying, apparently the staff are told there is a shortage of funds!! Perhaps someone could sort this out as it is very annoying when you are in a hurry and you have nothing to dry your hair with.

Efficiency of check in/out and price

Empty plastic bags in bedroom made me wonder how thoroughly the room had been cleaned

the fact that it was a bit bigger than a hotel room and the fact that there is free on street parking nearby at weekends

1. didn't get the real story about why we didn't get the balcony room requested. i would like to have known why the room next door to us (we were in 89, they were in 88) was a larger room with a balcony.....i couldn't even be told if this was a 2-bed. 2. your staff in your office at empire square are not informed enough about the facilities at the hotel and the staff at reception were not empowered to put me into a better room 3. the customer support services after 6pm are inadequate 4. we had a messy carpet in the bedroom 5. we had partygoers in the room next to us and the walls are thin - and given that the hotel reception were not able to move us, we had a very poor nights sleep
