The Location of Marlin Street Apartments Queen Street is excellent. At this location you are close to Mansion House Station and Canon Street Station which is easily accessible to the bigger stations. You are in walking distance to a mall and St.Pauls Cathedral and London Bridge. Great site seeing location. At this location you are twenty minutes away from Westfield Stratford Mall. Extremely close to the following stores: Domino's, Pret A Manger, Sainbury and many coffee and breakfast cafés. Since I travelled with my small children it was very useful to have a refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer.
I didnt like the following points: I travelled in winter and the radiators did not come on immediately at arrived. I remained cold for a while. The hot water took a while to come on and was very difficult to operate.
Great location in terms of being near tube station and shops etc within easy walking distance.
It is right over the tube line so the room vibrates every five minutes.
EVERYTHING!! Fabulous nights stay. Location was just great for us. The Facilities were amazing, home from home.
The only thing was that the apartment was a bit too warm.
The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night. The standards of the studio were superb.
We found the £30 extra for a later check out (12 instead of 10:30) a little steep.
The apartment was nice
The noise of the underground line! Due to this every 2 minutes I wouldnt stop here again
Location good for tube station ,very central.apartment was very well kitted out .
VERY,VERY noisy , due to closeness of underground,
The appartment had everything a person would need for a few nights stay.
The price for one night was quite expensive.
Location and facilities
The location was quite good, the apartments are secure and quiet.
The bathroom had extractor fan did not work and the bathroom was airless and steamed up, plus the heated towel rail did not work so our towels were always damp. It was quite hot and there was no alternative to the duvet, so we took the cover off and just used that!
I was extremely happy with the room. I've always used marlin apartments so I know that its a trusted organisation. Marlin apartments isn't some hotel, its a place to stay that provides excellence.
The only issue I have is of the receptionist. He seemed a little aggressive. I didn't feel the hospitality that I'm used to with marlin apartments. Usually the service is excellent. I'll chalk that particular employee down to having a bad night. Canary Wharf marlin apartments. I remember how I felt and it wasn't welcoming considering I do spend a lot of money with Marlin Apartments. The least he could've done was to give brilliant service. I work in retail as a manager and I know that its all about service. In order to keep customers coming and bringing in the business.
1.Upon arrival and after a very lonf trip, the guests found themselves in the 2 bedroom apartment they rent on the first floor just opposite to the bar where you can hear voices at 3 AM at morning, the rooms were not clean and the elevators were out of service. 2.The guests ordered clean bed clothes and were astonished to get ones with blood, something intolerable and unacceptable by all health standards. (the building manager admitted this in an apology letter and photos are available with the guests) 3.The guests found themselves with no choice but to leave the place after 3 days and to move to another place even though they had paid for 24 days for total amount that is almost GBP 6000 4.Other than the disappointment and the disturbance the guests suffered from within these 3 days, they had to pay for another place to stay in which is something not listed in their accounts and caused big trouble for them. 5. When the guests asked for refund and reimbursement for the period they didn't stay in the hotel and for exposing their health into risk, they received emails full of untrue facts and building manager refused to make it for the guests even though she didn't deny the rooms were booked for other guests at the same time that means the apartment management made financial use of the apartments rented by the guest twice.
Size of the apartment Well equipped Good bathroom with toiletries Excellent location
Hassle checking in with proof of ID, signing T & C's, refundable deposit, none of which you get with a normal hotel booking. On the second floor and was disturbed by noise form the underground.
This is much better value than a hotel room in terms of space. I was staying for a week so really appreciated a separate living room and a kitchen.
There is street noise, hard to avoid in Central London. The apartment was very warm and I had to open the windows making the noise issue worse.
Free wifi washing machine dish washer
The staff were so rude to deal with felt like they are doing me favors bed was uncomfortable No ac which was soo hot and had to ask for a fan No daily cleaning or towel changing at least ! No parking facilities the lift was broken for 2 days which was a nightmare using the emergency exit stairs to 4th floor got charged for late checkout ! which was like 1pm and they said I should leave at 10am !! you will get charged 54 gbp ( per night) for using the sofa bed in the living room !!!!! No any facilities in the building !!! I asked for help from reception on how to use the washing machine, they said read the instruction manual 20 pages !!!!! the view from the balcony overlooking a block of offices so they can see you inside the apartment which has no privacy, the curtains were broken and torn so I couldn't use them I asked if I could checkout and leave before my checkout date but they totally refused to give me any refund and the staff were so upset and rude when I contacted the head office ! its nothing like what you see in advertise or in the pictures ! location is so difficult to reach by car and so difficult+expensive to use near by parking !!!
Location perfect Nice spacious apartment Cheaper than a hotel room Kitchen well equipped
Could hear people in their room when using the corridors In desperate need of air con - the rooms are so hot and stuffy but having the windows open is far too noisy
Rooms and fast Wi-Fi.
Lift was inoperable, wake up call & taxi reservation made on Saturday for Sunday were not acted upon. A good employee on Sunday rectified the situation although timing was close.
Great option for London because you don't need hotel facilities
Our apartment sadly had no view and was noisy from the tube station
big rooms, with kitchen, good location
We chose this place because of its location
The bed was a bit hard, and the wifi did not work - we needed to access the wifi to the room next to ours.
location was perfect
The receptionist was rude beyond belief, no hot water in apartment and was told £10 fee would be incured to move apartments, heard staff laughing about situation and manager spoke poor English so hard to communicate Verdict....never again
Lovely apartment in great location was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade on the day
Nothing it was great it would be a bit costly for a longer stay
The check out time is at 10am and check out at 3pm. They charge very high for late check out nearly 60 pounds. The staffs here are very rude. We couldn't store the luggage prior to check in. Overall we had terrible experience.
The spaciousness of the apartment
The constant low background noise from the tube under the building
great location at a good price
room windows open directly on to office block, there for unable to open curtains at day time as faced with office workers waving in, had I known about such a lack of privacy I would not have made the booking.
Facilities Cooking in Kitchen
Poor pillow Low speed wifi All lifts broken the same time
