I like how peaceful and pleasant the stay was...the staff were really friendly and well manered, they make ya feel homely and welcome...the breakfast was delicious, and great variety of different things to choose from and could eat as much as we wanted.overall I would recoomend this hotel for couples who want a nice relaxing time in blackpool.definetly would visit again... The only thing I didn't like was the parking, on the website it states free parking but wen we actually arrived we were advised to park away from the hotel on a residential area...my partner didn't like the idea of just parking it anywhere as some roads u were not permitted to park on during certain times of te day tHis is the only downfall to the hotel.

Kath was very friendly and really made us feel welcome, especially at breakfast. Rooms were clean and confortable and excellent value for money. The hotel is just a short walk from the pleasure beach (3 minutes) and close enough to the pubs in the centre without all the noise.

The hospitality was second to none, Kath the owner was brilliant, ensuring our stay was comfortable and as relaxed as possible. The Marlow Lodge was central to all amenities with only a short walk to the promenade. The Indian restaurant that Kath advised for an evening meal was superb. The room was spotless and the four poster bed very comfortable. The full English breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it, nothing was too much trouble.

I have a dietary problem and as such had to have my own bread which the staff were only to happy to toast for me for breakfast. The proprietess (Kath) was a truly friendly and helpful lady. We would certainly use this hotel again and recommend it to friends. Absolutely no complaints

Marlow Lodge is situated near to the main beach front but far enough away from clubs, bars and night time parties. Kathy was welcoming and friendly and recomended good bars and restuarants. The breakfast was lovley and the room was clean and comfortable. Location was good as we walked from the South pier up to the tower (1/2 hour walk along the prom) Trams run from one end to the other if you get tired. Recommend for a weekend break. Parking is limited at b&b but the main road outside is free. If there are no spaces just wait for a bit like I did then one will appear then leave your car all weekend (you wont need it)

Really nice, comfortable room with quality handwash in room- a nice touch. Friendly hostess who made sure you were ok and enjoying your stay. Also recommended a very nice indian restaurant the Lahore Palace which was close by and the casino for entertainment Lack of fresh fruit at breakfast and no parking at hotel and had to put it out of sight

My boyfriend and I booked the Marlow Loadge because of its excellent ratings and price. When we arrived we weren't dissapointed. We were welcomed by Rick at around 9.30pm and had been working all day but still managed to give us some information and recommendations. We booked the Double Suite which was excellent, I cant fault it. Overall excellent stay and we will be returning next year. Good location, good breakfast. Really good. Would definitly recommend!!!

We received a very friendly welcome from Rick at Marlow Lodge. It is conveniently located two minutes walk back from the South Shore so convenient for all the amenities yet quiet. The first floor room was spacious with a kingsize bed, sofa and coffee table. There was plenty of storage and an en suite shower room. The room was very clean and the decor was fresh and appeared recently completed. Kath served us breakfast in the bright and clean restaurant. There was an ample choice of juice, fruit, cereals & yoghurt. Hot breakfasts were generous and made to order. We took Rick's advice and ate dinner at The Sands near Central Pier. An amazing new venue with a relaxed bistro bar, stage & dance floor with great value for money dinner and show deals. There is also an a la carte restaurant on the upper floor with fantastic views towards both South and North Shores. We ate a sumtuous meal there and watched the illuminations in style before enjoying a very good kings of Leon tribute band. There has clearly been a lot of investment in the resort. I particularly enjoyed the wide promenade on teh sea front and the skywalk at the top of the Tower. The mix of warm northern hospitality, the natural beauty of the beach and the joy of traditional amenities and amusements make me wish I'd visited Blackpool sooner. I will definitely return.
