Stayed because family wedding at hotel plus reception and evening do. On all counts it was excellent. No specific complaints apart from being informed that there was limited accomodation left 6 weeks before the wedding, and the need to book now, but even on the day of the wedding people were asking for accomodation and being provided with rooms, crtainly there were no cancellations from our party.

We requested a quiet room and were given one with an excellent outlook over the beautiful gardens. Breakfast is very good and dinner good. A definite minus for us is inability to order a glass of champagne or sparkling wine or kir royale. However, a small (two three quarter glasses) bottle of champagne costs £22.

“Initially I thought the location on a roundabout would be a problem but I have to say that it wasn't. First impressions of the hotel as you walk in are lovely and the room didn't disappoint. Everything was immaculate, the staff were friendly and dealt well with a 3yr old who desperately wanted to help them. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, we had a lovely meal and enjoyed the pool very much. Thank you for a great stay!!” Katherine, Watford |
