Beautifull setting Staff friendly and very helpfull Felt Luxurious Public areas comfortable and beautifully decorated

Internet expensive, should be free as standard, Cafes in High streets are free Honey from France !!!!!!!!! surely scotland can provide this (Should have said at the time) Food in the evening was excellent but cold

Beautiful location, very busy due to various functions a bit noisy. Great food at the Pentland. Great service.

The cocktail bar and dining-room were not available on three occasions. The staff are under-trained and well below 4 star standard. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The facilities in leisure area really just a swimming pool and cafe. The hotel did little to increase our enjoyment and we could have had a happier weekend for a third of the price. Poor reflection of Scottish tourist service.

The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much bother. I was treated to this gift by my daughter who won a spa gift voucher through her work and we decided to stay the night as well and make the most of it. We made the most of the spa facilities and room service and had a lovely cooked buffet breakfast in the morning. On checking out we were made to feel as if we were really welcome and offered any extra assistance with our bags out to the car park. Truly a wonderful landscape over looking the golf course and lake with trees around it. Will definately be coming back in the future hopefully this time with my husband for a romantic weekend.

Additional wi fi, an incredible charge of 19 pounds to make a ten minute local phone call . The location is a bit awkward to travel to na dfrom Edinburgh

Dalmahoy is a wonderful hotel we have stayed before its warm friendly and relaxing.

If I had to say anything it would be that I found drinks a little expensive.

I like how the staff were very friendly and treated us with much respect. They were very helpful. I also like how the Dalmahoy is away from the city and can be a quiet gateaway.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. There was a very pleasant atmosphere around the hotel and it was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

The staff are great: always greeting you with a warm welcome.

The main castle rooms are a bit dated and tired. Best avoided in winter due to rubbish windows hence cold room. Many only have over-bath showers; less than ideal. I'm not a golf player and only use the hotel for short business trips. It's ok, but not as good as some of the down- town Edinburgh hotels.

Had a lovely weekend. Staff were courteous and friendly. Dinner and Breakfast were superb. Had a beauty treatment while there and the therapist was fantastic.

Leisure facilities are a bit dated and need upgraded for a 4 star hotel

The staff were very professional at their job, and dealt with customers with a standard of excellence, but with also a personal touch. The breakfast layout was excellent and personal touch of flipped eggs and pancakes was great - I never tasted pancakes so nice before!! I commend all the staff for their standard of excellence at this hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. God Bless you all.

The only thing that I did not like was the price of evening dinner menu - quite expenses especially extra charge for veg, potoatos etc. - should be included in price. - Had soup a few times - excellent.

Arrived around 7.30pm were advised the restaurant 'would probably be full' went to the country club for our evening meal. Very dissapointing menu choice and overpriced. Buffet Breakfast cooked food of poor quality.
