Great high speed internet. 5 minutes from the NEC. We would definately stay here again.
The rooms lovely, the food great, the facilities great. The overall atmosphere was great
No free wifi. When we logged in told had to pay!!!
Hotel is located in lovely grounds. Clean & comfortable room. Good quality & value carvery buffet at dinner and good breakfast.
Staff service was a little hit & miss. Functional rather than aiming to exceed your expectations.
Spa was great, very nice golf course
Would have preferred not to have a buffee
The deer in the garden. The breakfast although it wasn't worth £15 each.
The reception chap Douglas that told me my card was declined!!!! No actually it said pay on arrival when I booked it. Embarressing me in a busy reception as there were holders and a wedding party.
The location was great for the NEC. Nice surroundings and staff were very helpful! Rooms where big with good views
Didn't sleep too well the pillows were very soft and didn't give much support, the food we had wasn't worth the money we paid it was a carvery not much choice and they ran out of some food and we had to wait for replacements.
The building was big. Staff were very professional and friendly especially the omelette makier at breakfast.
well ran hotel with great facilities and staff. Food good quality and well presented well organised breakfast even when busy
swimming lessons in the pool in half term taking up nearly half the pool at 4pm ! no free wifi
it took over 2 hrs from ordering to receive a hot meal with room service.was told it was to be made complimentary but then the urgency seemed to disappear i.e complimentary negated any bother for good service. duty manager failed to leave his card for us or email to discuss future bookings. very disappointed
Food and cold rooms
The location, the room, the beds, the facilities, with the one exception noted alongside.
Not having free wi-fi in our room.
Bar / food
zero degree bedroom
Great Location. Cleanliness was good and I did enjoy my Breakfast.
The hotel was poorly heated. No heating in the bathroom and only a small radiator in the room. When I brought this to the attention of the staff I was told there was issues but they had been resolved and the room would soon heat up...it did not. My mother had to sleep with two duvets on top - lucky she was in a twin room! The room had no blanket, no bath mats and I had no shampoo but two conditioners. Dinner was okay but not of the standard expected. Over priced when I think I would have been more comfortable in a Travelodge.
Near to the NEC - we found it very easy to get to. Excellent staff in reception and bar/restaurant. Food we had was very good. Good choice at breakfast. Very well priced compared to hotels at the NEC. Excellent large swimming pool.
No free WiFi in your room which is poor. You do not expect to have to pay for this today and especially at a hotel of this standard which is marketing itself to the business community.
Pillows - poor! Limp duvet.
Slept better than at home. Pool Great size room Zest - good range of food for relaxed dining Courses look FAB
We didn't make it onto the golf course
A lovely building set in the heart of England, very peaceful and quiet. Very convenient for Birmingham International and the NEC
Inattentive staff, we had to go and find someone to clear the table after our lunch (20 minutes), they then cleared the table of the coue who had finished their lunch half an hour before us.
Great Location and the food is good
hotel didn't have any heating I my room and my room wasn't ready when I arrived at 6pm
+ Great staff + Good food
- Who still charges for broadband? - small bits didn't work properly e.g. shower
the location of the hotel was brilliant.the staff, cleanliness. the room was lovely and the breakfast was great
what was there not to like everything was magical.
Clean well appointed room. Friendly helpful staff. Good facilities.
Poor low grade breakfast, watered down orange juice, sloppy poor quality sausages and potato waffles, plus cheap ketchup.
Location with proximity to Birmingham. Swimming pool and jaccuzzi.
Grubby fingermarks on room doors and bathroom doors. Mucky tables in the bar.
food, comfortable bed,
bathroom smelt damp
The hotel was set in lovely grounds and the hotel was over all a very high standard
I booked 7 rooms in total and all but one was the same price, but one was an extra £30 for a view, as I was booking at I took this room, but to my disappointment the room was miles from reception and the view was a tree, other rooms I'd booked were closer and better views
