The Spa was noisy as the mens and womens changing facility being refurbished, noise of drills was not relaxing at all. You can use the spa and change in your bedroom and walk down to the spa in your robe. You have to go down to the spa to get a robe, change in your bedroom. No robes in the wardrobe.
The staff were attentive, pleasant and friendly. Twin bedded room was very clean, excellent quality. Grounds stunning and the upkeep of the Manor also.Beautiful. Breakfast first class.
the large room
water in the mini bar was very expensive.
Quality Hotel throughout from the room to the staff. I was well catered for and would visit again for sure.
The building is nice with nice grounds
There was no English speakin people the staff was useless , the manager was unhelpful when things went missin from my room , the hotel has really gone down hill
Wonderful atmosphere in bar/library Rich breakfast and made-to-order options Gorgeous grounds and gardens
It is a fairly large place and feels like it
Noisy guests up and down the corridor til 5 am, we went there to relax after being unwell, and had to leave a day early as couldn't get any sleep.
The food, the accomodation, the golf and the spa, all was great.
There was lot of confusion about the booking despite me trying to pre-clear the arrival.
The peace and quiet, everybody friendly and helpful. Wonderful ambiance
Spa Food Room Service Garden
Very accomadating staff, transferred to a twin room with no questions asked. Staff at the wedding were also very pleasant. Can't fault the place!
Overall surrounds Peace Staff attitude Decor
Multiple electronic issues (trouser press, iron, TV, wifi) Bit of a trek from Reception Darkness of main car park Noise of room service attendant
Perfect spa weekend for my fiancee and I after a long week working. Treatments were enjoyable the spa was lovely and all the staff so helpful. Simply could not fault a single thing.
The setting is beautiful and the room was stunning. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. You could tell they enjoyed their work. There was lots to do and see.
No grumbles really but scrambled eggs at breakfast were not the best.
Bedroom very dated Some areas need updating. Wear/tear
location and grounds nice rooms
Restraunt staff poor unresponsive and not helpfull, food cold and extremely bad service.
Really comfy bed
Friendly staff in the pro shop and restaurant. Lovely golf grounds, great breakfast! Rooms comfortable.

Peaceful grounds, helpful staff
Room only and breakfast was expensive
Large Bed Carvery
1)Booked Hanbury Manor but was put in one of the out houses, poured with rain got very wet. 2)Wall paper peeling in room 3) Signage to room not good 4) car parked away from our out house after following car park signs and again got very wet
Beds very comfortable, food good, leisure facilities excellent. Lots of towels / robes etc in room
Poor breakfast service and non attentive attitude of staff. Had to use additional room to Pole Hall as wedding we were attending used the hall and additional area, but insufficient chairs either in the hall or this area. Drinks prices were exorbitant. Insufficient tea / coffee / milks in room
The staff were very friendly und eager to help (even if they did sometimes get it wrong, though I gained the impression that this might have been due to language problems - quite a few staff weren't English). The atmosphere of the place was beautiful and relaxing - we particularly liked the furniture, the size of the rooms and the beautiful park (though can't give you details about it, as we arrived in streaming rain and left in it - with no let-up during our stay). There was a wide variety of food available. The icing on the cake were the Spa facilities - there was just everything on offer and the staff were really good at their job (I had a fantastic massage). Well worth a visit!
Staff were slightly disorganised - we signed in with credit card so that food and extras would be added to the overnight accommodation bill, but reception got this muddled, so we did have to pay for everythig extra. Also, we had booked accommodation with breakfast, but when we ordered it to be delivered to our bedroom we not only had to pay for delivery but also for the breakfast itself again. The existing literature did not clarify that this was the case - it led us to believe that we only had to pay for delivery.
The grounds were wonderful and the main hotel so much character
The walk to the garden rooms. The bad service at the casual restaurant and it was messy.
Beautiful views Convenient location
noise levels were appalling. screaming kids running up and down corridors. drunken wedding party coming through at all hours. my 2 night stay got me a total of 6 hours sleep. was not impressed
Grounds Swimming pool and facilities Breakfast
First room had a happy dog in it so they moved us to one far away but much better.
Beautiful grounds Clean, nice rooms Lovely leisure facilities
Staff were abrupt and sometimes outright unfriendly Had to hunt down bar staff all the time if you want a drink Drinks and food are ridiculously overpriced. There is no need drinks to be that expensive
