The entire group visit was enjoyed by all from start to finish

It was comfortable , the staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was excellent.

The gym facilities modern and numerous. Dinner was good but the wine cost was excessive.

Poor condition of hotel room (160) which was musty and damp smelling, the room being in need of refurbishment. Electrical wires found hanging from ceiling and paint peeling off the ceiling coving. The breakfast was cold served on cold plates very dissappointing. I feel that Hollins Hall general failed to meet the standards of other hotels.

The staff were friendly.

The rooms were cold. One radiator clad in wood so only a small amount of heat . Staff said it was known to,be cold because it was an old building . All extra heaters were already being used . Several guests complained about how cold it was in the rooms and the changing rooms. I had looked forward to a swim but frankly too cold to contemplate. As it a problem acknowledged by the management of the hotel as ongoing I would have thought that you would have provided additional heating for all room in this wing of the hotel. The room were small with room for one chair only so not comfortable to sit in. No mini bar whichnI understand is your normal . I have medicine which needed refrigerator ,luckily on this occasion I was able to leave it at my brothers house nearby but will not be able to use a Marriot again as no fridge in the room. What is your policy for families who need to store milk for babies or special dietary requirements? Not a family friendly policy . My sister had a chipped bath and in my room the bath had been badly repaired. Breakfast was adequate but not good and war mosh rather than hot. Lastly we had chossen the hotel for it's a facilities mainly golf . My husband tried to book a round on Sunday evening for the next day and was told the course would not be open due to weather conditions. So imagen our annoyance when we came downstairs on Monday morning to find groups of players teeing off as they had been told differently. At that time there was not an opportunity for our group to play. I have made a complaint to the duty manager and asked for the name of the general manager and have explained that I feel it necessary to advise others that your hotel is not fit for purpose . In that it is not comfortable to be in in the winter and also does not make the facilities available to guests the emphasis seems to be on the club members and weddings. We booked what we thought was a golf and spa hotel and were able to use neither.

Excellent Spa and Leisure Facilities,Warm and Comfy Room. Great informal Eating in the Zest Bar, with helpful and courteous staff.

Room 301, was particularly noisy due to the wedding parties changing etc in the adjacent rooms. Heathcliffe Restaurant menu wasn't particularly inviting.

The bed was very comfortable and room was to a very high standard and the complementry items in the room and bathroom where excelent products and top quality

The only minor points would be some decor could do with attention ie .where the lights have been repaced and holes have been left

Good for commuting to Leeds/Bradford Airport. Restaurant food ok but not great.

The decor was just adequate, the bathroom was very poor with mould around the bath which as we know will hide germs

Staff acted in a very professional manner but when spoken to were really friendly. Large, spacious and luxurious areas throughout the hotel. Cleanliness, comfort and service all excellent.

Nothing negative to say

The Leisure facilities were very good lots of cardio and resistance equipment and a good pool and wet area. The Hotel is in a great location for visiting Bradford, Leeds and Saltaire which is a fabulous place to visit. There is such a lot to do and see in and around Bradford and this hotel is well located to enjoy these. The food was good, the staff attentive and the facilities very good too.Breakfast was great and the twin double beds with feather quilts and pillows ensured a fabulous nights sleep.

We had a bit of a problem in that the water in our room wasn't really hot enough. Unfortunately as the hotel was full we could not be moved to another room.The House Manager offered us robes to use the Leisure showers and a complimentary drink.

Great location, nice friendly staff, food good.

Astonishingly over-priced with out-dated decor, sports changing rooms with lockers without locks, Dirty bed linen, bed not made properly and Wifi not included in room price despite high room cost. Food and drink prices very high. Poor value.

The staff were friendly and helpfull and the rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and a chef cooked eggs as and when you wanted them. He also offered fresh cooked waffles - yummy

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy. We ate in Heathcliffe's Restaurant and the food was very nice. Wine selection was good but a little pricey. Overall a good trip.

From the staff at check in to the rooms and the lovely comfy beds to the spa facilities, everything was great. It is great that they don't charge for kids and as I was travelling with my mother and my 8 year old son was great we could get a room with 2 large double beds. The spa facilities were excellent and my son really enjoyed swimming in the lovely pool. We had a lovely meal in the Zest restaurant and of course the Marriot beds are so comfortable. The breakfast was also amazing. Would definately recommend

Very relaxing. Helpful, friendly staff, good facilities, relaxing spa and delicious breakfast.

The bed was very firm but that is often the case at hotels.
