Ideally placed between the historic towns of Monmouthshire and Chepstow. Tintern is in the heart of the Wye Valley, and all of the attractions it has to offer.

Enjoyed the traditional restaurant the style was charming. The food was also very good
nice and friendly staff
cleanliness of the room thick with dust. . Needs updating or more attention to detail when cleaning !
We just had a quick overnight stay and enjoyed it very much.
We couldn't stay long enough to play golf.
The cost of the room was lower through Booking.com than going direct, plus on arrival we were upgarded to a suite with lakeside view and private paking outside the room - superb result!
Shame we couldn't stop longer
The Hotel is in a great setting with good facilities. The bed was very large & very comfortable with great quality linen.
The room itself was very dated & in need of decoration, the paint work around the windows was mouldy. The soft furnishings were very shabby as in the curtains. The net curtains were grubby. There were cobwebs around the ceiling and when in bed were very hard to miss. The bathroom was very dated more 1980's with a shower over the bath with very poor water pressure. The toilet bowl was cracked with a very cheap toilet seat. Not what we expected from a marriott hotel.
Our stay at St Pierre 12th December 2014 Every thing, very warm welcome, surprise added extra`s such as swans and dogs made out of white towels, fruit platter and chocolates, simply wonderful. A massive thank you to all the staff making our stay at St Pierre very enjoyable. A special thank you to Rita Faller (chef) for her personal touch, organisation and professionalism.
Friendly helpful staff (booked our dinner reservation for us) Lovely pool/ and fitness centre Beautiful grounds Plentiful breakfast Ambience Welcoming For once exactly how I expected it to be from the description
That we couldn't stay longer!
Bedroom excellent staff helpful food excellent
Comfy bed, excellent service and pleasant and helpful staff and beautiful setting.
Room could of been cleaner and only 1 coffee available in the room as they hadn't had a delivery for 3days.
Lovely buildings in lovely location
Very poor dinner menu, more suited to a local pub than a 4 * hotel
Breakfast was excellent!
Pool closed, sad because that was why we booked your hotel!
Accommodation brilliant, food good but not a massive choice.
Trophy bar catered more for the golfers, they ruled the bar. Didn't enjoy paying £3.00 for a small glass of diet coke.
Location, large, comfortable bed, lake view, attractive public rooms. Beautiful old church worth a visit alone.
Do-it-yourself toaster for breakfast. One ends up either with cold toast or cold food while one waits for the other! If you can make tea & coffee please make toast!
Comfort, grandeur and style. Friendly reception. Magnificent setting. Excellent location
No formal restaurant in the evening
Starff was not ready to serve customers. Some were drunk when he came to my room for clean the room
the room, the leisure facilities and the breakfast was excellent too. Staff very helpful and friendly
Beautiful original building Parking Grounds
Poor bar and restaurant atmosphere. Food was not good
Nothing to dislike, from the beginning to the end of our fabulous weekend stay.
SO MUCH I COULD SAY THE BOTTOM LINE IS WE ENJOYED EVERYTHING
very average meal, over priced . 4 of us had a meal and bottle wine =£175. NEVER AGAIN.
Brimming with character, refurbished to high standard, accurate 4 star rating, GPS co-ordinates to the drive entrance (very useful if arriving at night as the hotel is a few hundred metres from the entrance)
I didn't pay for a longer stay!
We had a double room which was considerably spacious in a quiet part of the hotel. There was a wedding on the second night and we were able to sleep soundly. The bed was very comfy while breakfast was well catered for. For the price we paid and what we got it was value for money.
We were going to the rugby international in Cardiff and it is just generally a bit awkward to ge to if you aren't driving.
In separate building which had next door guests up and down stairs and banging doors until 4am. Getting wet on way to dining room.
Wonderful buidings & surroundings. Good room, good bed, great value.
Lack of aircon, both restaurants were booked full with many non-residents.
