i arived 1 hour early, driving from West Yorkshire I couldn't estimate how long it would take, but arriving exhausted and looking forward to a drink, I was sent away and told i was one hour early and to come back at two o clock. all i wanted was a drink. I had to go to a van on the border and have an awful cup of tea in a plastic cup and sit in the car for another hour. I was so disappointed |

Beautiful grounds and attractive hotel Dinner was disappointing for the price. Breakfast was very poor- bacon dried out and boiled, black pudding very dry and overcooked |

Very quiet ... middle of the countryside. Restaurant only offered a fixed price 3 course + coffee menu at £26 ... no lower cost options. Food was very good though. |
