The furnishings and decor in our room were a little tired but this didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Out of town so only have hotel restaurant serving good quality but rather expensive meals. Bathroom a little tired.

Couldn't fault it. Effortlessly comfortable. Lots of thoughtful little touches. Perfectly cooked breakfast.

Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Food was good. Member of staff Bruce was an absolute credit to the hotel, both professional and friendly.

There was an issue with our bill as stated on other review sites. It was easily resolved but if there was some method of signing for drinks and food it would save confusion.

Staff excellent, very friendly and attentive. Arrived late but still prepared food for us which was very good as was the breakfast. Lovely countryside location. We had a lovely time and hope to return sometime.

The unseasonal March weather!

hard to fault this hotel. staff friendly and welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. beautiful location and the room was large, comfortable and with all we needed for a relaxed stay.

ticked all the boxes and although just off the A1 it felt we were in the heart of the countryside.Nice set up for dining. Ground level for breakfast and movig up the stairs to a lovely dining area.

Very friendly staff and atmostphere.

The wifi internet was not working which is an essential requirment for my business. Pointing to the nearest McDonalds was not helpful. They need to fix the problem ASAP and as they already have one office internet connection I can't understand why this was not plugged into the router.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic staff, food, bar, bedroom, location.....just loved everything about this hotel. I shall return and it will be for longer this time. Top marks all round :-)
