Score from 201 reviews Very good
Loved the staff and restaurant, moved me when I wrongly booked a twin into a family room so I could have a double bed at no extra cost. Lovely location Staff amazing
With a touch more investment this place could be a ten, not that it's bad in any way but it could be amazing. Little things like king size beds, the chef had great food but just not amazing, lacked seasoning and the meat was cooked a touch too much so my pigeon wasn't pink.
If you are going to steam clean your cookers first thing in the morning (as told by staff) please ensure you give your guests breakfast first - having had to wait 1/2 hour for breakfast - then leave it as I had to go as by then I was running late. Plus evening meal was tepid and had to be returned. Feel let down after giving a good review a couple of weeks ago.
Excellent accommodation and good food.
Room was upgraded.Food good with very generous portions, staff looked after you.
Lights in the hallway only come on when they note movement - very environ friendly but a bit disconcerting going into the building as you had to be half way down a dark corridor before lights go on.
Food excellent and a very comfortable room
Lack of mobile phone signal
The warm hospitality. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms appeared to be recently refurbished and were very clean, comfortable and nice and warm. Good location.
having to leave
Easiness of access after work food and cleanliness
Easy to find Comfortable Very clean Friendly staff
Decor, atmosphere and staff excellent. Great selection of ales and a really good menu. Clear that a great deal of care is taken to make sure everything is spot on.
The atmosphere, attention to detail and variety of menu choices. Stayed many times and would recommend to anyone
We were met with a warm, welcome. Room, as was pointed out in detail before booking, was small, but worked perfectly. Very comfortable and clean. Had a tasty meal, breakfast good too. We managed to get a discounted price, but would be happy to pay full. Am sure we will return and thoroughly recommend the Marsham Arms Inn.
The glowing green emergency light, that's technology though. Was handy for middle of the night trip to bathroom.
The staff were very good. The breakfast choice was great and the food well prepared and served. The restaurant was also very good in the evening. We spent an enjoyable few days visiting the area.
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness and good food.
Very young staff who all seemed to be excellently trained. Made to feel very welcome. Food was also excellent. Good atmosphere in bar / restaurant.
Road outside a bit noisy but didn't interfere with sleep.
I liked the Hotel I liked the staff they couldnt do enough for you.
Didnt like price of the Cider,I didn't like any of the Beer's
Room was clean, with a good shower and restaurant facilities were excellent.
Very good food and friendly, helpful staff
the room, quality of food, good outside seating. helpful staff.
food a tad pricey, lack of comfy seating in bar area seemed to be all reserved for restaurant
Friendly, helpful staff. The food was good. Plenty of parking.
There was no mobile phone reception. However, All land line telephone calls are free.
The staff were very accommodating, nothing too much trouble, the room was very comfortable and we loved the wet room
We found the wifi very slow compared to home, and we could hear the neighbours conversations in the evening.
After having to cancel my initial booking due to personal circumstances the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. After arriving the room was immaculate and considering it is also a busy pub very quiet too. I would definitely visit again. Outstanding.
The only drawback is the noise from the road but there are ear plugs in the bathroom for use if you so wished.
The food was excellent , staff very friendly and helpful, bathroom was first class, shower the best ever
The walls in the annex rooms were paper thin and we had noisy guests who kept us awake for several hours. The rooms were clean and well equipped but dingy, needed more lights, and a carpet
We liked the professionalism and friendliness of every member of staff we dealt with. Even mentioned that the shower tray was filling up to staff on the bar and within 12 hours it had been fixed. The room was spotless and the cleaners friendly and chatty. The food was delicious and served with a smile. Breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We would be happy to go back again.
There was not one thing that we could fault. Oh, just the mobile reception, you have to stand in the corner by the road to get a signal. No problem.
Friendly staff, good food, comfortable bed and great service
Bad mobile reception
