Very good food and friendly, helpful staff
the room, quality of food, good outside seating. helpful staff.
food a tad pricey, lack of comfy seating in bar area seemed to be all reserved for restaurant
Friendly, helpful staff. The food was good. Plenty of parking.
There was no mobile phone reception. However, All land line telephone calls are free.
The staff were very accommodating, nothing too much trouble, the room was very comfortable and we loved the wet room
We found the wifi very slow compared to home, and we could hear the neighbours conversations in the evening.
After having to cancel my initial booking due to personal circumstances the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. After arriving the room was immaculate and considering it is also a busy pub very quiet too. I would definitely visit again. Outstanding.
The only drawback is the noise from the road but there are ear plugs in the bathroom for use if you so wished.
The food was excellent , staff very friendly and helpful, bathroom was first class, shower the best ever
The walls in the annex rooms were paper thin and we had noisy guests who kept us awake for several hours. The rooms were clean and well equipped but dingy, needed more lights, and a carpet
We liked the professionalism and friendliness of every member of staff we dealt with. Even mentioned that the shower tray was filling up to staff on the bar and within 12 hours it had been fixed. The room was spotless and the cleaners friendly and chatty. The food was delicious and served with a smile. Breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We would be happy to go back again.
There was not one thing that we could fault. Oh, just the mobile reception, you have to stand in the corner by the road to get a signal. No problem.
Friendly staff, good food, comfortable bed and great service
Bad mobile reception
The Marsham Arms is situated just 6 miles or so outside of Norwich in beautiful countryside, with easy access to both the centre of Norwich and the ring road if you were visiting (say) The Broads. Nigel & Jean are excellent hosts, with a very good team working with them. We have stayed there many times, and that is probably as good a recommendation as we can give. The rooms are comfortable, there is an excellent menu and a wide range of beverages behind the bar. Long may they continue!
Food quality and range Room location- off courtyard Friendly staff & great service
helpful and friendly staff
breakfasts restaurant meals real ale free wifi nice room books to read bottled water tea coffee in room
road noise smoking outside drifting into room if windows open
A stunning Inn with lovely clean rooms including a large Wet Room. The bar was nicely decorated and set out and the food was fantastic both in the evening and breakfast. For Real Ale lovers some good choices available. All in all well worth a visit and we will return
Not really a problem, but the WiFI seemed non existant
Well managed, and well supported by all staff who were always helpful. Food was excellent with a well balanced menu for all tastes. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Ideally situated for all locations. Highly recommendable.
Only minus was that a couple had a small dog which was allowed into the dining area.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly in our arrival and ensured we had everything we needed.
food brilliant, rooms excellent and spacious brill all round staff very friendly and helpfull
nothing not to like
the staff were top class, and the breakfast was one of the best i have eaten, a great place to stay
Owner personal attention and helpfulness. Excellent choice and quality of menu, including daily specials. Other staff were friendly and efficient. Attractive gardens.
Surroundings Nice Breakfast Rabbits/Hares & wildlife in back field!
Evening menu slightly overpriced for 'pub' food. Stuffed aubergine meal was extremely poor, my wife could not eat it & was offered a dessert or coffee to compensate!
Warm welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious. Good size of the family room and we loved the shower! Hotel easy to find and clean. Staff was friendly and happy to help. Hotel is by the main road but still it's lovely and quiet around.
Room was a bit dark and the sofa bed in the sitting area needs changing for the new one.
The staff - friendly, helpful & a credit to the hotel. Good food, and very patient staff when arriving late with a very tired 3 year old grand-daughter!!
Bathroom: good layout generous and safe programmable shower. Restaurant Breakfast Plenty of parking
Room lacked ventillation with windows closed.
The staff gave us a wonderful welcome. The room was spacious, homely and comfortable. We had a very pleasant meal, and excellent breakfasts. Our dog was made to feel very much at home!
Just about everything. Very polite and pleasant staff especially at breakfast. Very well cooked breakfast. Good service. Room was very clean. Couldn't fault it. Nice seating areas outside in the garden. Would definitely go again.
Only the fact that we were facing the main road and got all the traffic noise although earplugs were provided but didn't always cut out the noise.
Friendly helpful staff
Poor WiFi and Mobile signal
