The warm hospitality. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms appeared to be recently refurbished and were very clean, comfortable and nice and warm. Good location.
having to leave
Easiness of access after work food and cleanliness
Easy to find Comfortable Very clean Friendly staff
Decor, atmosphere and staff excellent. Great selection of ales and a really good menu. Clear that a great deal of care is taken to make sure everything is spot on.
The atmosphere, attention to detail and variety of menu choices. Stayed many times and would recommend to anyone
We were met with a warm, welcome. Room, as was pointed out in detail before booking, was small, but worked perfectly. Very comfortable and clean. Had a tasty meal, breakfast good too. We managed to get a discounted price, but would be happy to pay full. Am sure we will return and thoroughly recommend the Marsham Arms Inn.
The glowing green emergency light, that's technology though. Was handy for middle of the night trip to bathroom.
The staff were very good. The breakfast choice was great and the food well prepared and served. The restaurant was also very good in the evening. We spent an enjoyable few days visiting the area.
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness and good food.
Very young staff who all seemed to be excellently trained. Made to feel very welcome. Food was also excellent. Good atmosphere in bar / restaurant.
Road outside a bit noisy but didn't interfere with sleep.
I liked the Hotel I liked the staff they couldnt do enough for you.
Didnt like price of the Cider,I didn't like any of the Beer's
Room was clean, with a good shower and restaurant facilities were excellent.
Very good food and friendly, helpful staff
the room, quality of food, good outside seating. helpful staff.
food a tad pricey, lack of comfy seating in bar area seemed to be all reserved for restaurant
Friendly, helpful staff. The food was good. Plenty of parking.
There was no mobile phone reception. However, All land line telephone calls are free.
The staff were very accommodating, nothing too much trouble, the room was very comfortable and we loved the wet room
We found the wifi very slow compared to home, and we could hear the neighbours conversations in the evening.
After having to cancel my initial booking due to personal circumstances the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. After arriving the room was immaculate and considering it is also a busy pub very quiet too. I would definitely visit again. Outstanding.
The only drawback is the noise from the road but there are ear plugs in the bathroom for use if you so wished.
The food was excellent , staff very friendly and helpful, bathroom was first class, shower the best ever
The walls in the annex rooms were paper thin and we had noisy guests who kept us awake for several hours. The rooms were clean and well equipped but dingy, needed more lights, and a carpet
We liked the professionalism and friendliness of every member of staff we dealt with. Even mentioned that the shower tray was filling up to staff on the bar and within 12 hours it had been fixed. The room was spotless and the cleaners friendly and chatty. The food was delicious and served with a smile. Breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We would be happy to go back again.
There was not one thing that we could fault. Oh, just the mobile reception, you have to stand in the corner by the road to get a signal. No problem.
Friendly staff, good food, comfortable bed and great service
Bad mobile reception
The Marsham Arms is situated just 6 miles or so outside of Norwich in beautiful countryside, with easy access to both the centre of Norwich and the ring road if you were visiting (say) The Broads. Nigel & Jean are excellent hosts, with a very good team working with them. We have stayed there many times, and that is probably as good a recommendation as we can give. The rooms are comfortable, there is an excellent menu and a wide range of beverages behind the bar. Long may they continue!
Food quality and range Room location- off courtyard Friendly staff & great service
helpful and friendly staff
breakfasts restaurant meals real ale free wifi nice room books to read bottled water tea coffee in room
road noise smoking outside drifting into room if windows open
A stunning Inn with lovely clean rooms including a large Wet Room. The bar was nicely decorated and set out and the food was fantastic both in the evening and breakfast. For Real Ale lovers some good choices available. All in all well worth a visit and we will return
Not really a problem, but the WiFI seemed non existant
Well managed, and well supported by all staff who were always helpful. Food was excellent with a well balanced menu for all tastes. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Ideally situated for all locations. Highly recommendable.
Only minus was that a couple had a small dog which was allowed into the dining area.
