Marsham Arms Inn    

My Husband is a Coeliac. so it is excellent for us as we know he can eat safely and with a great choice. He particularly enjoyed his full English gluten free Breakfast Sausage and Toast. Many thanks

Unfortunately we did have an issue with the overhead emergency light above our bed. It was so bright we really had trouble sleeping. Also there was a constant on/off of an air conditioning fan, really not conducive to a restful nights sleep A great shame for the room was excellent the above issues were why I marked the facilities as only good and not excellent.

I was in room 21 I'd asked for a bathroom, when I booked and there was just a shower, the room was very noisy due to the fact that it seam to be next to a air conditioning unit, or some thing of that ilk. It was very annoying and I ended up having an head ache, due to the constant noise. I complained to the staff who said the could do nothing but would pass on my complaint, I new this was not going to happen as she never wrote it down.

Excellent in every way. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. The food is very high quality and made and cooked freshly with local produce. Although I did not have my dog with me, I understand there are two rooms available for well behaved dogs. It is situated very close to Norwich and towns near the Broads and the seaside, yet out in the country.

My room was OK apart from it could have been warmer and the restaurant was very good.The staff were excellent

On a very cold December night I thought the room could have been warmer and it didn't help that the floors were not carpeted but laminated.There was no mobile phone reception from any provider - but that's not the hotel's fault.

We were made very welcome We had a dog with us, the Marsham Arms has 2 laminate floored rooms specifically for dogs. A nice touch was the provision of a Dog Bowls for food and water and a couple of Dog Biscuits. The room was furnished with a large compfy double bed, a 2 seater settee and coffee table besides a fridge excellent TV good storage and hanging space. There was 2 pairs of Towelling mules. The ensuite included a separate large shower and bath. Both rooms are are a generous size The dog was made welcome in the bar and in the restaurant area used for breakfast. We had a prior evening engagement so did not sample the menu. Breakfast though was excellent. Mobile reception is non existent to poor but a self dial landline phone is provided in the room. Generous gravel surfaced parking to the front and side with seperate overnight parking outside the rooms for guests

We had enjoyed our previous stay at the Inn. It is convenient for Norwich where we have family and the restaurant is of a high quality. It is a comfortable place to stay and we found that the staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. We will certainly be staying there again.

Clean, comfortable, warm. Friendly staff. It provided everything we wanted.

The staff especially the girl who seems to be there all the time, she checks you in, takes you to your room, serves drinks and meals and is also there to serve breakfast. Food in the evening is very good.

I have stayed there 3 times now and each time the room has got worse. I know I booked a small double this time, and well it was very small, and the bathroom there is not enough room to change your mind let alone your clothes and it is impossible to get dry after getting out of the shower. The toilet is filthy under the rim. The breakfast quality is not as good as the evening meal and the choice is very limited.

Bare wooden floor. Single glazing so a lot of traffic noise.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food excellent - we booked for B&B but were so impressed with the menu that we also ate all of our evening meals in the restaurant which seemed very popular locally.
