Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel was the first hotel in Bournemouth. It offers 3 hotel restaurants, a health spa and lovely sea views.

In a quiet part of East Cliff, this clean, friendly hotel is just a short stroll from Bournemouth's beaches and town centre. It has spacious rooms, a restaurant, a vibrant bar and free parking.

Hair dryer too short between air intake at the rear of the dryer and blower thus causing my wife's long hair to get sucked into and jammed in the dryer. Guard rail on the veranda surprisingly low. However assuming no one has come to grief one supposes it must be O.K.
close to beach, city centre. Staff is extremly friendly. Highly recommed to stay here !!
Location on the town centre was ideal for BIC, shopping and sea walks!
Lovely hotel clean and comfortable, just what I need as a business traveller.
Radiator not working in my room.
The view from the room was good. The service we received from staff when required was good.
The pillows were really awful. Woke up frequently from an un easy sleep as the pillows were flat and hard. On check out we were told we had to pay for 2 bottles of wine that had been charged to our room - we didn't order these. They wanted payment for breakfasts that we had ordered the previous morning - we had already paid cash on the day for these. Requested a payment for a newspaper - thought these were free!!!
Location near to shops/beach was great. The free gift pack was nice. The staff were excellent.
Noise from live band lasted until after 1pm. Paint peeling from ceiling, and there was hair in the bath and on towels.
The location was very good close to the action but not to noisy at night a good size room and a very nice bathroom. All in all this is a well run hotel by the looks of things we will certainly stay again possibly in the summer.
When checking in I was asked to pay for the room fine. But i was also asked to pay for the room again on checking out I advised them I had paid but the receptionist was most indignant that I hadn't eventually they worked out my payment was allocated to a another room very embarrassing to say the least they apologised but this will not help with the total embarrassment in front of my guest and others. Very bad.
Friendly staff, free wi fi, good location short walk to town but far enough away for peace and quiet. Comfortable, clean rooms. Free parking at the rear of hotel.
Lift very small and very slow.
Lovely welcome. Great parking. The room was modern and had all the facilities needed were all there.
The breakfast was poor the bacon was rubbery the beans tasted funny. On arrival I went into the room bathroom and found poo in the toilet. Was not what I expected as the rest of room was clean
Wonderful views from the room with a balcony. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
great location for a short stay, will return
Parking is Easy Room is Good standard of comfort
Long queues for Reception & Meals due to number of coach parties
Staff - helpful and positive. Location - just right for us. Food - very good indeed. Would recommend it to all our friends and family
erratic shower control - missing "button" should have been obvious on housekeeping inspection.
We had a room with a sea view & balcony, which was really great. The room was very comfortable and looked as if it has been recently decorated, All staff we met were friendly and gave excellent customer service.
Lovely room, great views
Wifi did not work, was shut out of hotel for 10-15 minutes in the rain at night.
The staff were very friendly, we got a little lost and when we rang up your girl on the desk was extremely helpful in directing us to your car park at the rear of the hotel. I have got to say your staff were really friendly and made our stay.
Nothing. Will stay again the next time we come to a concert at the BIC or pavilion theatre.
Nothing was to much trouble very friendly
Our room was a little bit cold heating not working properly
Location Good room size
Restaurant needs updating Shortage of parking spaces
Balcony Sea View Twin Room - very spacious

can`t think of anything!!
Poor lighting in the bedroom,Need brighter bulbs
very clean room and clean comfortable beds lovely big bathroom, great view, friendly staff.
chairs in our room were to small for me to sit in,was looking forward to sitting and relaxing watching the sea,i dont consider myself to be excessively large at a size 20 so felt i should have been able to fit in the chair.spoilt an otherwise lovely stay as i couldnt sit comfortably in our room.
Thank you, again to the Team who made our Anniversary very special. We really appreciated the room we were allocated and had the most amazing view! We will see you all again next Summer
Fantastic hotel, friendly staff and beautiful location. Well worth paying the extra for a sea view. We would definitely return.
Nothing! We loved everything about Days Hotel
The view from room we were upgraded to. Bathroom was very clean.
Initial room was noisy and water didn't drain in the bathtub!!! We were upgraded but still had to pay £40. The beds were too soft and had a really annoying bit in the middle where two single mattresses meet. Just get a double mattress. Breakfast was unreasonably and inexplicably expensive.
