I have lived in Bournemouth for 40 years, but now live in Spain. My husband and I returned to Bmth for my daughter Sarah's wedding. I had to find a dress which took 3 days which meant the location of the hotel for shopping was faultless, the large T.V in our room meant that my husband could stay in and watch the cricket. The bar was modern and the service was lovely....sadly the weather was awful, my only addition to the hotel would be an indoor pool with spa....oh and the bed in room 302 was to die for, just wish there could have been room on the plane to take it home, we slept like babies and the icing on the cake was the view, totally stunning, thank you Marsham Court Hotel, this is a high rating 3 star hotel, great value for money and by the way... is there anyone out there, that would like to hire me as a hotel critic?

This hotel was recommended by a friend who has stayed there for years. I wanted a room with a excellent view of the sea and I wasn't disappointed. The room had an iron and board and also tea making facilities and good sized flat screen TV. The staff counldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was very good. The location was brilliant and was a short walk to the beach and not far from a good selection of shops and restaurants. The beach was great and even though dogs were allowed, the beach was clean. Also there were several public toilets near the beach which was really handy. I will definately be staying at the hotel again .

Clean room, great breakfast, wonderful sea views, excellent access to beach and town centre. Bar staff had a very poor understanding of English and did not appear to know what they were doing really. This really let the Hotel down we were staying for a wedding and when we left on the Sunday guests were arriving for another wedding which meant the checkout area was chaos!!

We loved every part of our stay at Marsham Court hotel and will deffinately be back again.we stayed for a long weekend away there were 2 weddings on one of the days we stayed which didnt effect us at all, the rooms were large and very clean the veiw spectacular ther was even a firework display on the pier on the friday which we could see perfectly. The staff we met when there were very helpful and friendly especiually the dinning room staff very efficiant and the food dilicious.the pool was great and we had it pretty much to ourselfs which was great. over all a great place to stay and i will be returning. :) !!!! the only improvement i would make would be to get cameras in the car park as we had two dents in our car when we went to leave and the car that did it had obviously moved which was a bit of a dampner on an otherwise perfect weekend. - good times !

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The food was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. The room had all the required facilities and the hotel is in an excellent location for the beach and the town. And the porridge at breakfast was delicious! We are planning to book a room there again next year. As a cancer patient on chemotherapy, I struggled to find a plain meal in the evening, although the fish pie was delicious. A goat's cheese tartlet or an omelette would have been a welcome option. We also found it a bit disconcerting that the house-keeper does not wait for you to answer the door, but uses her key to walk straight in.

The hotel was clean and minimalist (in a nice way). Good parking Not a lot of seating in the bar at around 9:30pm which could have been relieved by opening the bar to the left of the main entrance. It actually went very quiet by 10 so not too bad. Pity there's no gym

Location and the sea views are excellent. Close to the shops and the center as well. The breakfast was average. We had full english delivered to the room and got no salt or pepper. Didn't look for it, as didn't want the food get colder.

“Fantastic family friendly hotel with large rooms and lots of space. We had a large double room with two extra camp beds put in and still had space to swing a cat or two!! The swimming pool area is lovely and although children are only allowed at certain times it is still very family friendly. Breakfast is great and again it is family friendly, my children were very pleased to be allowed to choose their own breakfast! ” Agnes, Reading |
