The very helpful, friendly congenial hosts and their wonderful sense of hospitality, the immaculate and comfortable rooms, the relaxed atmosphere, the charming decor, the wonderful breakfasts with fine quality local bacon, home-made preserves, and amazing home-made rich creamy Jersey milk yoghurt |

We were greeted by Craig the owner with a pot of tea and made to feel extremely relaxed and valued! The hotel is beautifully furnished and the few staff members are very friendly and made our short stay wonderful..the breakfast was delightful! Having to leave!!!! |

The Hotel was claean and very friendly, the hotel was quiet and relaxing , i ejoyed every minute, i took a disabled adult eith me and he was treated very well, and he liked the hotel and staff. The parking was restricted but the road was safe and easd to use if needed. |

We found the staff extremely helpfull and friendly, the room was a nice size very clean and comfortable through out our stay. The breakfast was cooked to order every day and to perfection. |

Pleasant and helpful staff in an unobtrusive way. Breakfast was very good catered for vegetarians as well as traditional full english breakfast lovers!. Room was small and not as clean as one would expect from a 5 star establishment. |

Friendly and attentive service, excellent full breakfast, delightful furnishing. The pool is in a lovely sun-trap - no games allowed, which means not too good for children, but great place for my wife and myself to relax by. |

Very welcoming, gave us tea on arrival, helped with places to eat in the evening. Room was very comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water in the room. TV had 20+ channels. There was a hot tub to use in the garden. Pool was not open, only opens in the summer, but that was not clear when we booked. |

Exceptionally good service from the proprietors Ian and Craig. I have stayed at many hotels around the world, large and small, and am proud to say this is without doubt the best service I have ever gotten. Why? They were just so kind, so accommodating. For example, Craig played piano for my little daughter in the hotel lounge, and did not stop until she was happy. |
