Waking up to a sea view each morning. Nice and quiet away from the hussle of the town.

The style and decoration of the hotel and the comfort and cleanliness of the room.

The staff and owner were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was superb. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The mattress was too firm for my taste!

The rooms were large and clean and the food at breakfast was of a high standard. The Lodge was also realitivly near shops and pubs.

Rooms were noisy, floorboards & beds and we could hear the guests below us talking. Also there was not enough parking spaces plus there was a steep walk down to the shops.

A very well run hotel. Staff very polite and anxious to please. Food was excellent. Wonderful views of the sea and surrounding countryside.

The staff were were pleasant and helpful, and my room with en suite was clean.

The photograph on the website was a bit deceptive, and although my room was clean the television really needed repositioning, I had a job to see it from the bed.

Quiet, good breakfast, superb view of Minehead (room 12)

Like most hotels no bath mat so slippery getting out (used a towel for grip). First option for breakfast was at 0830 - which is too late hence everyone coming down at same time. Bit more detail required on arrival such as heating in room, don't take key when going out.

The views especially as I was on the top floor. I felt a bit special as I was the only one dinning at the hotel that evening and a meal was arranged for me.

Nydelig beliggenhet med havsutsikt fra nesten hele hotellet. Ligger i bakken i ytterkant av sentrum av Minehead, nær Exmoor, Somerset. Om man kjører videre kommer man opp på den vakre heden med lyng og blomster i lilla, rosa og gult. Vakkert eksteriør og interiør. Hyggelig stue, selv service bar og frokoststue. Hotelleieren svært hjelpsom med å foretelle om turmål i den vakre omegnen, og gir gode veiforklaringer. Koselig hage bak hotellet, med noen høner, og stier omgitt av busker og blomster.

For oss var det perfekt. Kjøleskap mangler, men det gjør det jo alltid i England.

Excellent accueil; le propriétaire nous a fourni un itinéraire pour visiter la région en voiture. Très bons petit déjeuner et restaurant.Chambre spacieuse.

M'ha encantat el lloc: la casa, la seva situació, les instal.lacions, l'habitació tot amb decoració del segle passat, sembles estar en un altre món, tot amb una vista privilegiada sobre la badia.

L'olor de menjar que se'ls escapava de la cuina, cal cuidar també els petits detalls.
