Marwell Hotel - A Bespoke Hotel  

Rooms were comfortable, bed was huge and comfy, toiletries supplied were luxurious, towels soft and thick. Breakfast was ok not much choice but quite filling. Had to book for dinner but found it on the expensive side so went to local Harvester, f&b instead. No discounts offered for zoo as separate enterprise. Pool ok open good hours, sauna hot, jacuzzi a little snug but ok.

Dinner menu very limited and expensive. There was a bar menu but were not made aware of this at the time.

When we got there all seemed nice then we went to our room and that was it as room was dirty wall paper pealing off carpet old and shappy and we havent seen a barthroom like that sience the 80s and was very dirty so we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay

It was very convenient for our wedding at the zOO and a bit different

Nothing except breakfast could have been a great deal hotter and plastic bags for wet costumes at pool or spin drier would have been very useful

We thought the reception welcome was friendly, helpful and fast. The room was very clean, modern and had tea and coffee making facilities. The Resturant was good, again with helpful staff. We would recomend this hotel, and would stay there again.

The resturant is overpriced, probably why it was fairly quiet. My wife's starter was not accurately described on the menu, and the portions were small, having said that, we both ordered steak, which was excellent, but with limited veg. The breakfast was self service for food, very tasty, but unfortunatly not hot.

Clean and comfortable. A little remote, unless you wanted to go to Marwell Zoo, then its perfect. Best breakfast in hotel I have had in ages.

Not really the hotels fault, but the weekend I stayed they had a wedding. The guests had to vacate the main room to clear away the tables ready for the disco in the evening. Our quite drink in the lounge suddenly changed to drunk guests shouting at each other. Seven 5 yr old playing chase and screaming. Only peaceful place was our room, which you dont really want to sit in in the evening.

we had a very nice stay at the hotel, staff very friendly and helpfull very welcoming. very unusuall concept but enjoyed it , we used the resturant on one night excellant food , just a tad expencive which reflected in the low numbers using the resturant . overall a great stay

Jacuzzi didnt work Tiny gym - just 2 treadmills!! Couldnt get itv in the room

Everything was good about this hotel: design, staff, price, food, comfort etc. No complants at all
