The location and surroundings . Food plentyful

Not clean ,poor service , pool area very old and tired , and se r vice at breakfast vrry slow .no hot waterin room .and breakfast food cold .

The food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent and great value for money. The swimming pool/sauna/jacuzzi facilities were good. The staff were friendly. The location and setting is very peaceful. The style and layout of the hotel is very unique. Our room has a fire exit onto an external balcony which is ideal for a smoker!

The outdated and very grotty bathroom. There isn't any daytime snack/sandwich food options available in bar/reception area, only full meals. The very high room temperature in the reception/bar and restaurant areas.

reception were very polite and smart. bar staff welcoming and breakfaxt superb.

Excellent location, good spa (had pool to ourselves) and very friendly and helpful staff .My wife had an excellent evening meal and breakfast for us was outstanding

Friendly greeting on arrival. Helpful staff at all times. Quiet pleasant pool/sauna. Light comfortable rooms with added bonus of being able to open doors to outside.

The feel of the hotel - the interior design/African decorations. The walkways to the bedrooms. Facilities in the bedroom. Very peaceful. Amazing breakfasts - incredible food!

The beds are too soft. Both my husband and found them highly uncomfortable. Bar prices a little high. Walkways although a nice idea, very cold. We were not informed a wedding was happening at the hotel on our last night, which meant our evening was not the quiet/romantic drink we had hoped for in the hotel bar. There was no alternative place for us to go in the hotel other than our room.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly

On entering our room, we noticed that the bed had not been made up. We were going out for the afternoon and evening and so told the staff at reception who said they would make the bed. however, on returning to our room very late and tired, we found the bed had still not been made. We had to go back to reception who were very apologetic and made the bed immediately and offered a 'night cap' on the house.

The beds were really comfy and the rooms were clean. The staff were outstanding and as a bonus they had a swimming pool and sauna. The leasure facility was basic but free. I would stay again but only if there's offers on the room as I have a budget when working away from home. All in all I would recommend to a friend.

Just no beans available at breakfast and the toast was brought out with the tea and coffee. ( the toast was cold). Don't let this put u off tho

We loved every thing !no complaint

The bed was very big and extremely comfy, the design and layout of the hotel was very good.

The bathroom wasn't very clean. And the price of the food was extortionate and the chips look and tasted like they had been bought from McDonalds. I was also charged £3 exra for my meal.

The location.

Unfortunately I felt the hotel was over priced. The room was 'tired', I asked for a double bed and was given two singles pushed together with a sheet stretched over which kept coming off. The bathroom needs updating. We couldn't shower the next day as the water hadn't drained from the previous night. Breakfast was not up to standard, we had to wait half an hour to be seated. All in all not a good hotel and I will not be returning or recommending to friends and family.

The rooms were very clean with modern décor. Our double room also had a single bed in although not sure if this is the norm. Plenty of parking as separate from the zoo. Breakfast was very nice (although see note on negative). Brilliant location. Would stay again as it is good value for money.

The website mentions an air conditioned corridor. I would say Baltic! Limited choice at breakfast - no beans, fried egg etc. Shower not very good for tall husband- had to stoop down to get higher than chest covered. Not a lot of outdoor space. All little niggles bur would not stop me staying again.

location was great right across from the zoo

the place was filthy the carpets were dirty there were cobwebs everywhere, the walls were filthy the only clean part seemed to the lobby.
