Really good atmosphere from staff and locals good menu and food was cooked just right landlord was very helpful in located in a really lovely part of the country hope to visit again soon
Perfect location for a Pennine Way stopover. All the facilities you could need in the hotel and the attractive village.
Nothing to complain about.
ease of location, separate room entry from car park.Nice view from my room. It was ok but i found nothing special to help it stand out.
noise from room above, faulty tea shelf felt like thigs were going to fall off. stained bed covers. booking.com had not included breakfast in the price, misleading, thought i had bought bed and breakfast not just bed.
some maps with walks would make it perfect.
The peace and quiet ,it's stunning ,the staff were really good some really nice walks
Breakfast is not included in the price
The position in the centre of the village. Enjoyed a good evening meal. Nice bedroom.
breakfast was fabulous, bed comfy, room clean. shower lovely - evening dinner well-served pub grub, as expected Beer nicely kept and bar clean and tidy owners really friendly and helpful. Nice that dogs are accepted - dog had a good time too Overall - loved our stay and will be back next spring
main road noise - fast local traffic right under window. pub outside seating too close to car park + cars parked right up to door of room One confusion re rates and breakfast: when we said we booked with booking.com we were told at bar by landlady that it was room only for £70. Given that the breakfast was amazing, the price of £5 per person as quoted at bar was fine. What was NOT so great was that we were charged B&B on final bill at £80 per night and my wife had already decided she would forego full breakfast on final day, so had not ordered it. (had tea and cereal instead). I said nothing at checkout time - I might have done if we had missed more breakfasts and then been charged anyway. Only point I am making here is please be consistent.
Good location for our walks. Good beer and excellent food. Helpful staff.
Long wait for food on Monday evening - apparently it's the only place serving meals in the area on Mondays. Didn't have quite such a long wait on Tuesday evening. Some fixtures and fittings in the room could do with a bit of tlc.
Lovely chatty staff who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Places with the warm and personal touch like this are hard to find. Excellent Northern hospitality! Thanks very much! PS great breakfast!
Great location. Friendly local pub with excellent home-cooked food and comfortable accommodation.
Nothing not to like.
We had an excellent three nights at the Masons Arms. Very comfortable room, with great facilities. The shower gel and shampoo were topped up when we asked. Breakfasts and evening meals there were very good. All the staff were very pleasant and the landlord and his wife were great. It's in a lovely little village and close to plenty of other things to see.
Good food, nice room and friendly staff
liked everything no complaints
The location was lovely. Food was standard pub food and good value. Staff were nice
The bed was uncomfortable, there was a lot of noise from what sounded like heavy lorries or tractors going by and the church bells ring every 30minutes
The staff were very friendly and polite
Bed was small, very soft and uncomfortable.
The location was excellent for walking, we walked on the river bank to Skipton. the food was very good and we all enjoyed our stay at the Masons Arms
The balcony outside our lovely room needed cleaning and the ashtrays on the table outside had not been cleaned properly for a while.
The staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome.could not do enough for us
Lovely little inn, the staff could not have been more helpful.Lovely pub grub & brekkie. We stayed with other family members for a wedding near by. Lovely setting near to the Penine way. Just the job, would recommend for all.
Great location in a pretty village, friendly local pub with clientele to match. Loved the fact that every room had its own front door. Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.
The Staff, the bar, the food. All excellent.
Having to get up early to leave the next morning, the bed was so comfy.
Gorgeous setting and lovely village. Rooms were tastefully decorated and modern. Great pub serving excellent food.
Welcome for dogs, they even put a bowl, towel and a blink biscuit out for him Good selection of ales and good menu with specials
Comfort of room Quality of food available
The pub food was generally excellent, the belly pork fantastic. Great rooms.
Breakfast fine, but nothing special. Restricted food serving times in the evening, 9pm was "too late for desserts"
