The Master Robert Hotel  

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff without question were excellent. We would happily stay there again and would recommend it to others.

The evening meal wasn't the best, it wasn't bad either, perhaps due to the large number of us (around 18 - all ages) we were celebrating 3 birthdays, a special 80th (Mum) and she said it was the best celebration she could have wished for, so only small things were wrong

For a London hotel, it is extremely good value. Rooms are generously sized, it is easily accessible from the m4 and has good car parking.

For access to central London, it is not as well positioned as it could be because there is a 15 minute walk to the nearest tube station and then 25-35 minutes tube journey into town. Whilst it is close to the Heathrow flight path for incoming aircraft on the westerly (and planes are pretty low by this stage) noise levels are surprisingly low inside - except when they started using the south-westerly runway at 4.30am, with some planes passing immediately over the bedrooms. The beds are a little hard.

Ideal location, good breakfast.

The hotel is reasonably located for access to Twickenham costs about £15 for a taxi, the staff were very pleasant and attentive especially at the bar.

The only complaint is that you are under the flight path to Heathrow, planes start at 6am.

Bed a bit soft and past it's best. Shower head would not stay in bracket. Under the flight path for Heathrow. Planes start at 6am, sometimes feels like just above your head!

The Master Roberts is clearly a "tired" hotel that has seen better days but, in terms of the location I was visiting and the price, it more than served its purpose. All the staff I encountered from the receptionist to the bar and dining room staff were all very friendly and consdierate.

The noise, no double glazing. Very much needed

The location is excellent for the centre of London, 15minute walk for the Osterley tube station, under the Heathrow flight path so a tad noisy in the morning but when your not in the room long it didn't matter. We really enjoyed our room and will be booking again.
