For a London hotel, it is extremely good value. Rooms are generously sized, it is easily accessible from the m4 and has good car parking. For access to central London, it is not as well positioned as it could be because there is a 15 minute walk to the nearest tube station and then 25-35 minutes tube journey into town. Whilst it is close to the Heathrow flight path for incoming aircraft on the westerly (and planes are pretty low by this stage) noise levels are surprisingly low inside - except when they started using the south-westerly runway at 4.30am, with some planes passing immediately over the bedrooms. The beds are a little hard.

Value for money hotel in london in a great location for us working in Hounslow. Reception staff have not been keen on our last visit to help out when an early departure was required on our part. Over night parking is charged for which we are not too happy about as not told before arrival

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and I have been happy with the service and facilities. The rooms are very good and the breakfast is amazing! It would be nice to have a later checkout time (12 noon) and that the domestic staff didnt enter the rooms after knocking just once, and instructions for the tv, which I have always struggled with, but other than that, I have no complaints!

My hubby and I had just collected my father from Heathrow after he had returned from New Zealand. His room temperatur during the night reached 26.9C and he could not turn his radiator down! He contacted reception but no one came to his room thus he went down to speak directly with the staff. A guy went to his room but the radiator would not turn down as the TRV was stuck; my father was left cooking!! He opened his window but that didn't help; as he couldn't sleep he went for a walk. My 76 year old, deaf father was walking the streets of Hounslow during the early hours of the morning; he was not offered an alternative room. I know there were vacant rooms in the hotel as we had been offered a change the previous evening when we informed reception that our bath taps didn't work. Pleasant hotel spoilt by poor maintenance!

Good location, not at city center but easily accesible. Buffet breakfast. Has its own restaurant, which was good. We had to flush the toilet several times after each use. Needs to be fixed.

The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful and this has been the case in the last 4 years that we have been coming to the hotel. The bar staff were a bit surly this time around, although generally they are very helpful.

Its perfect for a week end - no facilities other than bar and restaurante so a lot of people use as a base for airport/twickenham. The bar next door is quite lively and the food in the hotel restaurante is very reasonably prices (make sure you download a voucher from their web sute getting you 20% off food - if your eating twice get 2 vouchers) also if you spend over £15 on food the parking is free. Theres an ice machine in the foyer too which is good Bedrooms triple glazed as your directly over the flight path Double check prices with the taxi company they use, prices quoted by the hotel were not what the taxi tried to charge us.

towel warmer, the night shift was very friendly, kids were able to stay free in parents bed and breakfast was good especially the croissants. The location was good as we had friends staying close to the hotel. There is a beautiful park with a nice playground for kids not far from the hotel (have to ask the short cut way though which is 3 mins, regular way would be 15 mins). When I looked under the matress there was a big urin stain on the bedding sheet. The carpet was not clean and made an old impression. The shower had no water pressure.

The Reception Staff were very helpful upon arrival, we arrived early but they were able to accomodate us pretty quickly. We really believe that The Master Robert is in need of a entire revamp, my Husband being an electrician was rather appalled at some of the electrics, we had a toilet that would not flush without lots of effort, a broken kettle - did not work unless the switch was manually held down and we felt that there was an awful smell in the Lounge area, which was also rather tacky. Good Luck and let us know when the revamp happens, would like to stay again, but not until revamp. Sorry would not recommend to others at the present time. Other family members were staying some from America, who were also not impressed.

The friendliness of the staff. Very close to Osterley Station and Osterley National Trust Park/House. Good breakfast. Spacious and quiet rooms. Very clean. The hotel is in need of a sprucing up but the rooms were spotless and for the money it is great value.

Everything about The Master Robert Hotel was to our liking - its location to Heathrow Airport, the friendliness of the staff and their readiness to go the extra mile, the cleanliness of our room and facilities, and the cooked breakfast in the morning. The price was exceptional value, we felt. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.

The price..£47 For the night The fact that the room was a five minute walk from reception and when I had to carry 2 bags up a flight of stairs to find that the key card wouldn't work and I had to go back to reception to rectify the problem. How would you feel?

Inexpensive. Reasonable location but far from ideal. Breakfast was good but everything that should have been hot was always luke warm. Mandatory wake up call at 7am (jets landing at Heathrow). Bus stop very close. Tube station 15 minute walk at a good pace. Decent neighbourhood but very few restaurants and stores. The tube station in Hammersmith on the Picadilly line (which runs out to Hounslow) offers a good selection of stores and restaurants. Clean enough that it was not scary but overall the property is not in great condition. Restaurant had an interesting smell, possibly some sort of (industrial strength) cleaning product. Location is not great. Flights landing at Heathrow means a mandatory wake up call at 7am. Staff cleaned room despite (hotel provided) notice on door asking them not to. Items were thrown away that I wanted to keep. Shower pressure was not great but fine for England in my experience. Knobs on sink were terrible. There were individual taps for hot and cold water (unheard of in the UK). However, I felt like the pilot of the Titanic when they spotted the iceberg every time I wanted to use the sink. I had to turn the taps like mad to get anything to come out or to turn them off.

An excellent hotel for travelling from Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport. We were a family of 5 so we needed a triple room. Other hotels would mean booking 3 rooms but with the Master Robert we could book a double and triple room. Comfortable beds and a very good breakfast. Good value for money.
