Not a lot, only good thing was it was located centrally. Shower did not work, asked to be moved but said no spare rooms! People in room next door were very noisy. room was not clean, cleaner obviously didn't finish cleaning room, still rubbish in bin, crumbs etc on floor, not impressed at all. |

very basic, not much in the rooms regarding decor, but excellentforshops, pubs and clubs. staff were very friendly and pleasent the noise from outside on a Friday night, windows did not have any double galzing and the woodwork round our window had a hole in it. the blinds that were at the windows covered this ut did not stop outside noise or draft getting in. |

It was exactly as it described - a budget guest house/hotel which is a 10min walk from the centre of Glasgow which was excellent value for money and served it's purpose perfectly for us as we were on a shopping trip to the big city!! |

15 minute walk to Buchanan St Bus Station and Shops! This is a Plus for the House! Good Breakfast! Thats it for pluses! Dreadful Room! Avoid Room 21! I asked for a quiet room! I was given a room that all guests had to pass by en-route to their rooms! Hence, I did not sleep well both nights! There was a huge Bathroom next to my room with a Bath; but No Shower! How does one wash one's hair??? A shower-head attachment would have been handy?? So! With frustration; I informed the Receptionist about this problem on Day 2! She told me to could climb the Stairs to the 2nd floor (in my Night Gown); and have a shower! This was so inconvenient for me! I have stayed in better Youth Hostels! There were cob-webs on the bedroom walls! The bed was old. I could feel the Springs digging into my Back while attempting to sleep! I have travelled the World! Mc Lays not good! |

That I had a bed to sleep in. I did not like sharing toilet because not once did I find it clean from remains of bowls produce from previous users sprayed around it. |

The close proximity of the city centre. En suite toilet was foul smelling. The shower was a joke. I am only 5 foot 8 in and I still couldn't stand up fully in the shower. Breakfast was poor. It certainly was not the full english breakfast as advertised with sausages and black pudding missing from the plates. |

I requested a quiet room and that's what I was allocated, hence a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions, local information and sorting out car parking. A value for money hotel in a location that made the city centre accessible on foot. More info on parking arrangements would have helped. You can park directly outside the hotel, at £4 a day, with vouchers available from the hotel. It's public parking on the street, so you have to wait for a space to become available. |

The standard was luxurious compared to other and more expensive hostels. Great with big rooms, good bathrooms and ordinary beds instead of bunk beds. |

It was reasonably central and not as bad as some of the negative reviewers made out in their reviews. Thre breakfast was small, and the walls were paper thin so you could hear other guests constantly. |

Within easy reach of Kings theatre and not far to walk to shops, buses also available closeby. There are a lot of stairs, steep steps from street to front door which was difficult with my suitcase. The Guest house is made up of a number of houses therefore layout is confusing and i did get lost going to my friends room in another area a few times, also a lot of stairs within the gust house. Parking is on the side of the street which can be tricky finding a space, need to buy parking permits from reception. |

Friendly and helpful staff - supplying a map of Glasgow on arrival. Came in useful whilst walking around the city!! There are no lifts. Therefore, the climb to the second floor room with a large suitcase was 'interesting'! |

I like my room. Even I travelled alone, I stayed in room 15 which is double room, and room size is fit for me. Also it is comfortable. The atmosphere in corridor is quite damp. No decor in room. |
