Bedding was clean
Very run down and scruffy building and room with cracked sink hole in bathroom door one to avoid
Property was tired and dirty.

Hi, i quite liked the room we were given to stay. Upon booking we requested for early check in..the hotel didnt confirm it. On d day of check in i spoke to reception and they asked us to come in . I asked for availability of room the receptionist confirmed my room is available for me. We reached hotel and receptionist was about to give me keys when another receptionist/ manager entered and shae told us in no simple terms that room wasnt available and told in a scolding manner that i cant check in early, explained terms etc etc. Once she cooled down she allowed us to check in early and offered breakfast and all. From a guests point of view i should have been upset as the receptionist asked us to come, it was bad weather and took me half an hour to find the place , had they told me before i could have arranged for my tour trip. I changed trip to accomodate early check in and I got a rude ness owed to rest. Apart from 20 minutes bad ordeal rest was reallt good about the place
Left Glasgow many years ago - needed a bed for the night - good place down town - clean, safe, comfortable, Good value for money.
value for money, location near Glasgow School of Art and city centre (good for restaurants and cafes and work), got a double room having only booked and paid for a single, good value
some of the staff terse and grumpy, the breakfast room was dreary and drab and the cooked breakfast was greasy and 'traditional' - and not even any mushrooms!
an excellent guest house in a great location.
Was very close to sauchiehall street
I phoned the hotel 2 days prior to arriving because I'd had an accident and was on crutches I asked if there was disabled access and was told if I Couldn't manage the stairs my room would be switched to ground floor. On arrival the receptionist was quiet rude and no other room was offered however there was a small lift I could manage to the lift so wasn't a problem my friend was then spoken rudely to by the janitor because we were on the third floor upon arriving back at the hotel after our comedy show the lift was broken and no help was offered all I was told was I'd have to manage the stairs so I then had to basically drag myself up 3 double sets of spiral stairs had to also come back down in the morning and nearly fell over as the floor on the stairs is very uneven after breakfast I asked if the lift was fixed was left waiting around half an hour whilst 2 janitors were called to fix the lift but they Couldnt come in so again had to drag myself up all the stairs and back down again we were to check out at 11 and at 11.04 we were called because we were not down at the desk also room was right outside a nightclub and windows are singled glazed so the noise was disturbing to our sleep overall most of the staff were quiet rude and unhelpful
Very friendly staff!!!
The constant sound of sirens it felt like I was staying in London
The location and breakfast
Helpful staff, breakfast included
rooms are old
nice room nice breakfast
parking it took me one & a half hours to find a parking space about quarter of a mile from hotel
Location wise is the best
It is a horrible hotel and will never stay there again at all, the price is not really cheap compared to the poor facility, the room like a prison with damb carbet and poor matress in addition to the disgusting bed cover and sheets, breakfast so bad as well
Our room and whole guest house needs a bit of upgrading
value for money, located in heart of city within walking distance of all theatres pubs and restraunts, friendly staff an overall good place to stay.
The staff was very helpful when we found that we had left medicine on the airplane. The breakfast was excellent. They minimized the number of stairs we had to take. They gave us good directions.
The climb up the hill from the theatre district should be noted in the advertizing. It's brutal. It's hard to get to sleep for an early start the next day when the theatre lets out & everyone goes to party outside our windows. Room & bath were nice but the carpet was gross!
Close to town
Lots of noise from the street. Shower was not powerful. Room was slopping
Well located for the SECC. When I had a problem, I received help quickly. Staff were relaxed about guests overshooting the 9.00 am cut off for breakfast
I was happy with everything
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was really good.
The only thing we didn't like was the state of the carpet on the stairs it was filthy and stained and really let the place down.
The staff, especially Ms. Anna , Ms. Eva and Mr. Said. They were very helpful and friendly. The hotel location is very close to many restaurants and the city center. Morning breakfast is open buffet and enough to get you started.
Changing the price of the rooms every weekend and sometimes changing the room as well. Although I stayed about 10 days, the price of the room was not fixed.
Perfect location, good value/money
Poor decorative state both inside and outside room. Shower didn't work. Cracked basin. Urgently needs renovating.
Our stay was just for the one night. Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff were great as was the breakfast. Location was spot on for where we wanted to be. Would definitely stay again and would most likely recommend to others
Near to train station and shops Comfortable double bed (for a single room) Price Cleanliness Friendly and helpful staff
Reception staffed 24 hours. Early breakfast every day, including Sunday. Speedy and cheerful service at breakfast.
Location awkward for SECC (on the wrong railway line). Steep steps at entrance.
