Most things were OK
You couldn't check in before 2pm which is a bit late if you're arriving into Glasgow in the morning.
Tired looking place which needs freshening up, but basically OK
Hassle free stay.
Great location, room and bathroom were spotless, very good shower. Staff very friendly
Bit dated, No bar area/ lounge
Large ensuite bedroom with comfortable, modern furnishings and massive flatscreen TV. Brilliant location next to Glasgow School of Art and a brief walk from the West End. Very friendly staff. Filling and varied breakfast choices included in room price. Totally exceeded our expectations and will definitely be staying again!
The only slight quibble was that you could hear a small amount of noise from the room next door.
Good location and reasonable room for the money.
The main thoroughfare through the guest house i.e. the carpets, décor and walls could do with some sprucing up.
Very nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast
Staff very helpful
Furniture in room very dated
Location good. Close to town although a fair trek up a huge hill. Friendly staff, breakfast good although a choice of cooked items would have been nice. Room was good, clean and relatively comfortable. En suite great.
Decor outdated and badly needs refurbished. Windows only single glazed, very draughty and curtains didnt fully cover the windows. Hall stairs worn and dirty carpet and smelly. Not a good first impression.
I paid £ 38 for one night. Surprisingly, a full breakfast was included. The location was 15mins from the centre on foot. Late checkout.
The overall cleanliness. I could feel every spring of the mattress in the morning after.
Reasonable, friendly staff, quality and close location to where I wanted to be
Nothing I dislike
size of the rooms, ful english breakfast!
The Staff did their best in a bad situation It was hard for them to smile and pretend they were enjoying the work they clearly hated. Needs must to make ends meet.
The rooms were terrible. Our door No. 26 looked like someone busted the door down many times. Carpet filthy, beds old and lumpy, room - out of the 20's. Sharing bathrooms which needed complete overhauls.
The breakfast was great
Location very good if ur wanting a nite out in the town. everywhere walkin distance. Not the best looking inside and decor bit old but for somewhere to put ur head down after a nite out is absolutely fine.
Was very old fashioned and needs a bit of diy
It was all i need for a night stay in Glasgow. Friendly staff. My room was good. The breakfast was all that i needed.
The staff were really good with us
friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast, quiet location.
On a business trip , this place is highly recommend
Staffs were nice and we love the room. Perfect location as well.
The stairs in front of the guest house was quite steep and it was slippery as at that moment it was snowing. Also, it was hard for our buggy since they don't have ramp for buggy and disable.
Great price which inc breakfast. Wifi excellent. Staff very good.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Friendly staff. Good location. Value for money.
Bed springs kept making a ping noise as if releasing from being stuck.
Could do with new carpet and decorarating the staff and facilities where excellent and cleanliness was top class . First impressions count and the decor and carpets were very poor
location good for city centre entertainment
