The rooms are quite big and beautifully decorated. The beds have very good linen and are extremely comfortable. The power shower is great and the towels thick and soft. Breakfast consisted of fresh, good quality produce which was cooked extremely well. The ladies who run it are really friendly and welcoming.
Since it's on a main road the traffic is a little noisy but it didn't stop us from getting a really good night's sleep.
staff, cleanliness, breakfast
nothing not to like
It is in a lovely position for getting to Windermere and further north, plus the nearby inn serving excellent meals. The guest house is lovely and very friendly.and helpful. We had a really great room with ample storage and a spacious bathroom.

Lovely place in a small village, staff very friendly and accommodating. Our double bed was so comfortable we had a really few good night's of sleep. Can't fault my short stay in this small B&B. Very quiet and relaxing.
Very friendly staff, they couldn't do enough for you. Great that you can take your dog (I don't have a dog though)
It's kind of old fashioned in decor.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfst, clean room and excellent batroom facilities. Both my wife and I enjoyed the shower in the disabled room.
Bathroom floor remained wet for a long time after shower.
Good location for visiting all the lakes with your pet.
Easy to find. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. Very good choice and a quality breakfast Rosemary the proprietor was very accommodating
nothing to dislike. The soap dispensers excellent, the towels excellent and an excellent breakfast. Would stay again. There are some poor value B/B 's in the Lake District but this is a example of how they should be !
Owners enthusiasm for her guests. Lovely breakfasts, cooked to whatever you wanted. Rooms lovely, shower excellent.
dogs being allowed in the bedrooms, which were then used for other guests afterwards.

Nothing to dislike.
Friendly proprietor and staff Very clean and tidy
Parking space slightly limited Customers should be aware the establishment is very dog friendly
People were quite friendly and helpful. The scenery and closeness to Windermere we're quite good without loud street noises day and night. The house was newly fixed up and the morning breakfast and it's room were smashing!
Comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Weren't informed of the WIFI access code in guest info, or on arrival. Then couldn't find anyone to find out. Shower door wouldn't close properly, shower head wouldn't sit in position and just sprayed straight against the wall. It was a little out the way.
Very warm and friendly owner: great banter with guests at breakfast time! Comfortable and clean room. Great location - just a few miles from Windermere, superb country walk with stunning views on doorstep and two minutes walk from great pub with tasty food and fab ales.
Can't think of anything!
Friendly Quiet Good breakfast with plenty of choice Near a garage
The pub down the road the food was not great passable pity because it is so close to meadow croft whose food was excellent
Very nice and friendly hosts, wonderful breakfast, nice little English village with a very good pub within 2 min walking distance!
Lovely happy people, great room, staggering distance from a beaut little pub with good meals. We loved our stay!
The owner was very welcoming and the establishment well presented.
The sound of traffic was terrible - even with windows shut. Bed was a small double and not comfortable.
Location in a tiny village/hamlet - easy to find and next to an excellent traditional foodie/ale pub
No problems to mention
