The hotel was lovely, all decked out for Halloween! Room was lovely and spacious overlooking the Conway valley. Nelson was ever helpful as we're all the staff! Dinner in Lle Hari was exceptional! Superb food presented in a inspired way.
Breakfast could have been better. Better quality of ingredients would be welcome, everything very bland right down to slices of white plastic bread and instant coffee. Total contrast to the amazing food in the restaurant!
Old fashioned decor done tastefully. Food good and unpretentious. Generally efficient
Only instant coffee for breakfast that we had to make for ourselves.
Décor Shower (cupboard)
we were attending a wedding and we were in walking distance to the church and reception ,room was very comfortable and the beds were also. slept well . breakfast was very good too
no one around when we arrived , even after pressing the bell a few times . decided to have walk round and come back later, dont know if there is a shortage of staff
Booking.com described the room as a triple but it was a double and single, which to me is a family room. This caused a problem as it was 3 men sharing. Surely a triple room should by definition have 3 beds in it?
Comfortable room, good views, very helpful staff, welcoming drinks, excellent with gluten free dinners.
Nothing to dislike
Friendly Staff, Good Menus
Beautiful room with comfortable beds and lots of space. Great breakfast and dinner, and the staff were lovely.
This is a lovely and very comfortable hotel, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant has outstanding food and great atmosphere. The hotel is just at the edge of the charming town of Llanrwst and is a great base for exploring the Snowdonia area.
The hotel bar serves a very good local beer, but the beer would be even better if it was served cold!
It's a bed and breakfast establishment that does what it says but room needed repairs / redecorating.
I have never seen a 1 egg omelette before and will not be returning to see one again.
Young man at desk was wonderful Breakfast very nice Price was perfect Room size fit our needs Great location
Room had been sloppily repainted. TV sat upon an unsteady dresser.
We received a warm welcome on arrival. The room was as described and very clean. The food was excellent and the staff were all most pleasant.
Not really a dislike - personally we did not think that admitting to have won 'The Four in a Bed' TV show did them any favours!! Some of the contestants??
everything was just fine except for what we did not like
the landlord did not talk to us or any body, never seen mary, she stayed in the kitchen. we had dinner in the medowsweet on 2 nd. night of our 4 night stay my wife and i ordered fish cakes the cook gave us one and a half fish cakes each, yes ,they cut one in half and they were not that big to start with. i got the feeling the landlord was not there to stay and did not want us or any body else to return again.
V friendly & efficient staff & service. Great restaurant & bar
Noisy road at front Beds not 100% comfortable
Bed was so comfortable. Great selection of toiletries and teas/coffee. Nice touch having bottles of water in the room.
Should have double glazing as traffic noise almost constant through the night. Instant coffee at breakfast - not good.
The service excellent, quiet ,we stayed over last minute as the weather was turning and camping wasn't that appealing the young lad serving on our stay was extremely efficient and polite a credit to the hotel
Decor in the room look dated and the breakfast only had brown toast and some items over cooked
owners waited up when we weren't arriving until late and were very welcoming. Also offered us an early breakfast as we were climbing snowdon the next day. Nice room and good breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious, food excellent.
The location was ideal. The decor in the bedroom was nice.
Upon arriving, the toilet was unflushed and soiled. The mattresses on the beds were such poor quality that all three of us could feel the springs. At breakfast time, they were tremendously understaffed. One young man was trying to take care of the buffet line in addition to all of the guests. It would have been a challenge for an experienced staffer but was too much to ask of this young man. Therefore, it also meant that breakfast took a very long time and caused us to get a late start on our day of travel.
We were upgraded to a Deluxe Room which was very comfortable & spacious . The breakfasts & evening meals were excellent & the staff were very friendly . Altogether an excellent hotel & highly recommended !
Just a slight niggle . the bar wasn't open for very long of an evening .
Very friendly staff, room very well equipped with hair dryer straighteners, water and even wine. Bed comfy and bathroom very clean
Maid service on second day was not as thorough, the bed was made but pillows and cushions not put back, the first day it was perfect.
Beautiful and comfortable room. Very friendly and professional staff. Lovely food and ideally based for Snowdon. Excellent range of teas and toiletries in the room Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
One minor disappointment was the lack of fresh coffee at breakfast.
Mary a and Nelson were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and was clean, the restaurant was nice, the food great, all in all, a great place to stay
The wifi could have been free
Food good .staff very friendly . hotel lovely.will be visiting again.
Room a little cool for me but fine for my man.
The staff were tops, so was the view and service
