It's a bed and breakfast establishment that does what it says but room needed repairs / redecorating.
I have never seen a 1 egg omelette before and will not be returning to see one again.
Young man at desk was wonderful Breakfast very nice Price was perfect Room size fit our needs Great location
Room had been sloppily repainted. TV sat upon an unsteady dresser.
everything was just fine except for what we did not like
the landlord did not talk to us or any body, never seen mary, she stayed in the kitchen. we had dinner in the medowsweet on 2 nd. night of our 4 night stay my wife and i ordered fish cakes the cook gave us one and a half fish cakes each, yes ,they cut one in half and they were not that big to start with. i got the feeling the landlord was not there to stay and did not want us or any body else to return again.
Bed was so comfortable. Great selection of toiletries and teas/coffee. Nice touch having bottles of water in the room.
Should have double glazing as traffic noise almost constant through the night. Instant coffee at breakfast - not good.
The service excellent, quiet ,we stayed over last minute as the weather was turning and camping wasn't that appealing the young lad serving on our stay was extremely efficient and polite a credit to the hotel
Decor in the room look dated and the breakfast only had brown toast and some items over cooked
owners waited up when we weren't arriving until late and were very welcoming. Also offered us an early breakfast as we were climbing snowdon the next day. Nice room and good breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious, food excellent.
The location was ideal. The decor in the bedroom was nice.
Upon arriving, the toilet was unflushed and soiled. The mattresses on the beds were such poor quality that all three of us could feel the springs. At breakfast time, they were tremendously understaffed. One young man was trying to take care of the buffet line in addition to all of the guests. It would have been a challenge for an experienced staffer but was too much to ask of this young man. Therefore, it also meant that breakfast took a very long time and caused us to get a late start on our day of travel.
We were upgraded to a Deluxe Room which was very comfortable & spacious . The breakfasts & evening meals were excellent & the staff were very friendly . Altogether an excellent hotel & highly recommended !
Just a slight niggle . the bar wasn't open for very long of an evening .
Very friendly staff, room very well equipped with hair dryer straighteners, water and even wine. Bed comfy and bathroom very clean
Maid service on second day was not as thorough, the bed was made but pillows and cushions not put back, the first day it was perfect.
Beautiful and comfortable room. Very friendly and professional staff. Lovely food and ideally based for Snowdon. Excellent range of teas and toiletries in the room Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
One minor disappointment was the lack of fresh coffee at breakfast.
Mary a and Nelson were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and was clean, the restaurant was nice, the food great, all in all, a great place to stay
The wifi could have been free
Food good .staff very friendly . hotel lovely.will be visiting again.
Room a little cool for me but fine for my man.
The staff were tops, so was the view and service
Great Hospitality, good food and welcoming staff.
everything was just perfect
The staff was really friendly and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place to our friends.
I would say the only thing I didn't like was that it was on a busy road so you get road noise at night.
staff and location
sign posts not very good
The staff were kind polite and very helpfull. The food was superb and very fresh.
Having to leave
Loved the room and the owners and staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
Was cold in bedroom but the weather was very cold and wet.
food good and staff helpfull., will stay again.
Waiting for waitres in the morning take 20 minutes after we order one of three options of breakfast we was waiting another 30 minutes After that time we left hotel hungry as we didn't have more time !!
Food, room, staff and ambience
two flights of stairs to my lovely room
The hotel was beautifully kept and the attention to detail was excellent. it was Halloween And the hotel was decked out and even had a mock graveyard in the pasture over the road . We were made to feel welcome and our family who were meeting us there from another hotel were welcomed and the bar was opened for them. We dumped all our stuff in the bar and sat around a lovely open fire for about 4 hours before going to our rooms which were lovely. We also had out evening meal at the hotel and the food and service were second to none.
The only small problem was that the bed was a little hard and the plumbing was quite noisy.
Very welcoming, friendly staff. Excellent Food
