Schöne Zimmer in einem wunderschönen, geschichtsträchtigen Gebäude. Typisches englisches Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal.

Good location for bird / wildlife reserves. Comfortable room and public areas. Quite location. Helpful owner / staff.

The proprietor and staff were so very friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for them. It's a lovely old building, completely modernised inside without spoiling the appearance or 'feel' of its historic roots.

Sound proofing should be improved - the room next to ours was linked by a locked door, through which we could hear word for word the occupiers' entire conversations. There is a simple remedy for this: they can put doors on the walk-in wardrobe/storage areas of each room (the linking door is in the wardrobe area), thereby separating the two rooms by a series of three doors, not just one.

Service byt the owner proprietor was excellent, I hade been there before, and expected the service I got, the food was good though a bit pricey. ( I would not object to it)The room was well laid out, confortable bed, though I muts add that the restaurant is no longer a feature of the property

I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to help. Also, the fact that they were willing to also do evening meals was a great plus for me.

I do wish the setting had been a bit more rural.

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast and service. quiet and very relaxing.

net curtains were dirty and some ares in the room could be dusted more thoroughly
