Even though there is no lobby at the apartments the staff takes clear pride in speedy answering to questions that I had regarding my stay. The apartment is well situated from city centre and Trafford Centre is easily accessible with taxi (cost is btw. 10-15 pounds). The training centre in 9th floor is lovely with a great view over the city whilst running on the treadmill, with a sauna and hot tub to finish off a good exercise. The apartment has two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen with a nice living room area. In all I had a very pleasant stay at the Medlocks The apartment could use a coat of paint and a few fixes. Few of the equipments in the fitness centre were broken.

Size of apartment. Huge lounge and kitchen area. Good facilities if working. Wifi and Oven both not working. Man came over to fix the wifi eventually but could not fix the oven. Very disappointing considering we booked an apartment so we could use the kitchen facilities and the advertised free wifi.

The beds were comfortable The guy who showed us to the room (Sunny) was rude. I asked a receipt for the cash I was giving him and he said he would email it to me. I refused to hand over cash unless I got a receipt and although he was reluctant I got him to sign my booking confirmation form. He was hard to understand and not helpful at all. He said he would drop my change under the door but never did. Plus he tried to sell me parking for £8 (outside) or £10 (undercover) but as we arrived at 4pm on Sat, I checked the meters outside the apartments and parking is free after 6pm and all day Sunday so he was trying to rip us off. We paid £2.30 for 2 hrs parking up to 6pm right outside the apartment. The apartments were not clean at all. The floors were dusty and dirty and the carpets were grotty. Unusable drawers in one of the bedroom as they were broken. Very basic stuff in the kitchen, no bottle opener, can opener, dishcloth, washing up liquid or brush. Advertised as a "luxury" apartment but far from it. Very basic throughout! Advertised with free tea, coffee, milk & sugar but none of this in our apartment. Even the 2 sets of s & p shakers were empty. Grubby stains on the couch in the lounge and one of the dining table chairs was broken.Nothing handy nearby is you need shops either. I've stayed at better and would certainly pay more to stay elsewhere next time. Sunny needs to improve his customer service skills as this place will lose business because of him! Definitely better places in Manchester!
