Medlock Apartments @ Deansgate  

A lovely apartment which is kept clean and to a high standard.

The arrangements for getting the keys. It is ad hoc and if you are on your own you can feel very vulnerable not knowing who you are meeting, the exact post code and name of the person etc. there is no concierge so you arrive at a block of flats which they don't tell you the name of so you are looking for Medlock apartments when in fact it is called Nile house! Be prepared to have to call them a few times to be sure you are in the right place and wait for them to turn up! When they do, they are nice and helpful and the accommodation is good. But it is located in a place where youth congregate all night drinking in the car park so if you want a good night's sleep, forget it!

Like the Canary Wharf of Manchester. Muberry handbag shops, carluccios etc. Just a short walk to the rest of the city's facilities - opera house, cinemas, shops etc. Very nice location (once you can find it!)

Owner was rude and unhelpful in arranging the meeting to collect the keys. Hot water doesn't work and no refund for the inconvenience. I was staying there to secure new business so to have no shower was a huge inconvenience which I just didn't need. For that reason I would not recommend it.
