The proximity to St Pancras was excellent for catching Eurostar. The dinner and breakfast I had were excellent. Although the room I had was facing the busy Euston Road, e noise of the traffic did not disturb my sleep. The room was very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the free wi-fi as I was a long way from my family in Australi was able to Skype them. The rom was very pleasing decorated, and the furniture and the bed very comfortable, however, the only negative observation was that the curtains had come off the track at places.

The Megaro hotel reminds me of how hotels used to be 15-20 years ago. Rooms are large and aesthetic, service is personal and warm, prices are sane (although a little on the expensive side) and free wi-fi internet everywhere in the hotel! Add to this the amazing location and you got yourself a winner. We are definitely going to be back!

The hotel is nice enough. It's conveniently located directly across from the King's Cross / St. Pancras station, so it's handy if you happen to be arriving in London via Eurostar from Paris. Pleasant room, not too noisy considering the very busy street. The shower controls took a little figuring out but it's a very nice shower once you do. At 6:40 am, the extremely loud fire alarm went off directly over the bed. It terrified me and my wife; we had been sleeping soundly and we had no idea what was happening. We called the desk, and it turned out that the alarms went off in every room in the hotel because someone had burned some food in the kitchen. The hotel categorically refused to give us a discount of any sort to compensate us for not getting a full night's sleep; apparently this is just the sort of thing you should expect at the Hotel Megaro. I don't know how often this happens, but I can say for sure that their fire-alarm system is wired in such a way that some burned toast (or whatever) in the kitchen will set off the alarm all over the hotel, so if you want to sleep past whenever they start fixing breakfast, you might consider one of the many other fine hotels near King's Cross.

Very handy for the train stations. A modern clean and comfortable hotel. Despite being on Euston Road opposite the main entrance to Kings X, the hotel was an oasis of quiet. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Did not appreciate being woken at 1am to a false fire alarm, although on reflection, it was comforting to know that the alarm system worked! I also felt the breakfast area was a little cramped, with some of the tables being a bit too close together (I'm not a morning person!).

Was trying for days to find a decent hotel in downtown London within an affordable price range, until I came across this little gem! Located above a bank and a Burger King you cant see it even if you re standing outside it! And that's a positive thing for me! It was excellent! Room is exactly as shown in the pictures, clean as can be, the bathroom a gem by itself and coffee maker & fridge were very helpful. Wifi worked just fine and in general had no problems at all! Btw I stayed in Rm. 307 Can't really find a thing I didn't like, no complaints at all! Will definetely stay there again!

Great location! Just in front of St.Pancras. Room is surprisingly big and clean. High sense fashionable. Two bottles of water each day is very helpful. Restaurant is also good. Totally, highly recommended. Staffs are good and bad. One said wrong information about Heathrow Express starting time, but soon another corrected it by checking Web. So you should be careful for the staffs.

It was right across the street from St Pancras Station (though we didn't use that station, it would be good for travellers who plan to do so). Very convenient to the Underground (King's Cross). The air conditioning didn't work in our room, so they moved us up to a bigger room on the top floor that was lovely and cool. Very helpful staff at the desk. We had a few meals in their restaurant and they were very good. Convenient, clean, pleasant, good value. I'd definitely stay there again. Our room had a queen size bed and a pullout for our son at the other end of the room. Lovely, but the bathroom had a big glass wall so everyone could see you in there ! Unusual to say the least. Might have been fine for a couple who don't mind showering with each other, but it was rather awkward for a family with a teenage son ! We sorted it out by taking turns standing in the hallway or going downstairs while each took a turn in the loo. Still, for that small inconvenience, it was well worth the value. And we have a funny memory to share for years to come. We had a lovely stay, great people, nice rooms.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Megaro. Very clean and neat.Very convenient to the subway. Fresh fruit is available around the corner. We will certainly stay there on our next trip to London. Would be good for your staff if you had a shower curtain as we spill a lot of water. No complaints

the most close place to the Station of St. Pancras and the room is spacious. I complained about the stay when checking out this hotel, "there was no slipper, bath robes, free water (only with gas) and complimented fruits" which they were mentioned beforehand when i booked this hotel. So the receptionist told me "okay, we will informed this to our hotel manager." That was all ... no following-up of my complaint. Just the location was all right.

This Hotel was easy to find. Close to public transport. The staff were very attentive to my every need and the size of the rooms were good compared to others I have stayed at in London that have been much smaller. It was very handy having the cafe/restaurant downstairs who do great coffee and the meals were fantastic. Wifi throughout also makes this hotel a great hotel to stay at.

Location excellent-one block to train station Avoid this hotel. Tv kept going on all night and hotel said this was happening since the system was installed. Wi-fi did not work. Flies in hotel. Shower floor tiles broken and coming up. Shower floods. Not clean. I suppose if you are in town for one night and need to be the station you can survive but we stayed for four nights and it was very poor. Terrible value for the money. One night the fire alarm kept going off and the reception did not speak english so we could not find out what was going on. Later we learned the staff was trying to fix the heat without calling a professional and kept setting off the smoke dectectors. We travel often and would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The deluxe double room was very big and seemed quite new. The location of the hotel was excellent, right opposite Kings Cross/St Pancras, And although there wasn't too much road noise was kept awake by the constant stream of emergency vehicles! I requested a deluxe double room with extra bed and none of these 'extras' were in the room upon arrival, even though the hotel staff had checked twice with me whether I needed the extra bed!!! Other extras not an issue ie. bathrobes, slippers, fresh fruit, but had paid more fr the luxury!

Large and very pleasant bright, quiet room with excellent facilities. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice, tasty breakfast and enjoyable, good quality and good value evening meal.Very good location near KIng's Cross station and underground. Would certainly go back there again! I don't see the need for lots of tv screens set to Sky News in the breakfast room. I would be enough for those desperate to catch the news

We were upgraded to a service appartment. It was a lovely place, great facilities and very nicely fitted out. Honestly would have been hard to imagine it being better, especially for the cost. Two people in our group said it was the best nights sleep they'd had for a while! It's also very convenient for the station.

The position is excellent for Kings Cross/ St. Pancras complex. No nonsense rooms. Good for business trips. Friendly staff. Only one chair in the room I stayed in which was not particularly comfortable. I did not find a lounge but there may have been one if I had had time to look or use it. The breakfast dinning room was not what I had expected but served its purpose. The menu might be called multi- national. The entry to it could have been directly off the street.

Everything is to like. Used to the tininess and ugliness of London hotel rooms, I was (positively) surprised by how big and pretty this one was. The staff is great, too.
